3000 year old vampire

The development of the story was particularly impressive, showcasing a compelling futuristic take on the vampire genre. This narrative holds significant potential for future progression. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the voices at first but eventually got use to them and enjoyed that as well. (Voices can be make or break for me) overall I was pleased and will be reading the second book.

Amazing story and great narration

Well... I don't know why I haven't written a review of this book, this is like the 3rd time I listen to it.
Lexi C Foss once again manage to create a great paranormal word, with an amazing plot and characters you will fall for.
Darius and Juliette story was fantastic, I love how their relationship evolves and how Juliette breaks from her training and grows a backbone.
The secondary characters are an important part of the story and have a role to play that we will see in the next books, and they intrigued you and makes you want to read more about them.

As for the narration, Sarah Puckett and Kale Williams are perfection. I love that Lexi has chosen them to narrate her books, because they bring the story to life in an amazing way and makes you want to listen and listen for hours.

Not my cup of tea

Imo to many sex scenes and all about dominance and submission... If your into that maybe you'd like it more. I couldn't finish.

This story has a bit of a rough start. First, the listener/reader isn’t sure about the Hero’s true character. In addition, the Heroine is so weak, it’s sickening. The biggest obstacle, as is common in many romance stories, is the lack of true communication between the H and h. This lead to hurt feelings and misunderstandings that hampered their ultimate goals. This does get ironed out in the last chapter, but then the book ends with a short epilogue. I wish there could have been a few more chapters including events that were experienced wit the H and h being on the same wavelength.

Be aware that this book has a lot of violence and murder, in it. This series should probably be skipped by individuals who are intolerant of such subject matter.

Love the Narration!

Each had beautiful voices and I really liked how it was told from each point of view! Wonderfully done!

Good story just not my cup of tea. Would recommend to people that don’t mind submissive/ slave theme..

Great beginning

As the “beginner” book of the series, there isn’t any let down. When you finish, you’re going to want the next book in the series.

It was a nice story

I enjoyed the male voice. i plan to follow him as he reads for other series.

obsessed

I am obsessed with this whole series! i've gone back and listen to it multiple times. each book is mainly about one couple but their interactions with each other to further the plot of the series is just fantastic and there is a great variety of personalities. its just a fun easy read/listen.

Vampires

Great book, great characters, awesome story, great audio performance. Loved the whole book, all the ups and downs, never know what is to come. I am glad that it worked out for Juliet and cannot wait to see what happens next.
