I was really impressed with the author's note at the beginning of this book. I think Ms. Hoopes did an awesome job of explaining the material, and appreciate the concern for our Frontliners.
Although this book was not as light, it is only because of the current situation. Mmm. I do NOT mean that abuse, arson, drugs, etc., are light, but the pandemic is not only current, but affects everyone. (Regarding the other subjects - everyone should be concerned, but not everyone is living through them.)
Thank you - for this book and the series. It kept my interest, but still let me get some work done (albeit a bit slower! 😉)
Off to read the last one, 3.5. I can't find #5; I don't think it has been released yet. Audible - please let me know when it is. Thank you.
