Exciting start to the series

This is my first by Lisa Phillips and I loved it!! I can’t wait to read the rest of the series and more by her!! (Great narration, too)

Be Still

This story was full of twists and turns. It was great how the lives of each character was wound together. God uses circumstances too bring about good.

Loved it!

I couldn’t put this book down once I started it. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Good story

Great story line. It did drag a few times but picked up the pace again. Anxious to read the next book in the series.

Police Officer & Medic Adventurous Love Story

I was intrigued by the story and wanted to keep listening. An unrealistic love story. Hard to believe a couple that both have severe trust issues with parents could actually make a relationship work. It’s a little frustrating when a woman character is attacked & in danger and doesn’t want help or protection from anyone around her. I like strong women characters, but sometimes the authors have them appear stupid when they go out and do things when their life is in danger.

Too slow & not written well

The reader was almost elementary like and the story was written very choppy. I stuck with this for awhile because story has potential but about 2 hours into I couldn’t finish listening

A twisty tale

This book was too twisty and slow moving for me, and it had a lot of different threads. On the good side, many of the characters were unique and interesting. There was a good Christian message sprinkled throughout. The performance was pretty good, not great.

Just ok

Very convoluted storyline and at times hard to follow. It was the first time with this author but will probably listen to the second book in the series.
