I love this book

ok now this book was action from the beginning to the end I love the ending

Fantastic new spin off of an awesome series

The McIntyres are back - except this time the focus is on the youngest Hannah and McIntyre Security guard Killian. As usual, it can be read as a stand-alone, but you won’t be sorry if you go back and read them all.

This time it’s Hannah who is in trouble and in need of a rescue. Killian is not only McIntyre Security’s best tracker, he’s also completely in love with Hannah who has so far, not shown any indication she returns his feelings. A harrowing rescue, persistent danger, and great spicy romance makes this a great read, but the audio version is even more engaging. It’s a tiny bit disappointing the male narrator didn’t dive into trying the Cajun accent of Killian, but it really doesn’t detract from the story. He’s got a great voice, and the female narrator gives a good run at the accent.

A great mountain adventure, lots of steam, and boosts from beloved characters we already know so well. 10/10

Amazing Book

This book was absolutely amazing. I loved each and every book of April’s but there was just something about this one that I just loved the best. Hannah and Killian are 2 of my favorite characters. It was fun being set in Colorado and a completely different story line but of course stayed within the McIntyre series. I absolutely love the whole McIntyre series anyway. Looking forward to much more in the Search and Rescue series. I also totally love Killian with his Cajun accent. If you haven’t read this book you totally need to because you will love it !

Great story

I enjoyed listening to this book. The story held my attention from the start. Full of mystery and suspense. I definitely would recommend this book.

Hooked already on this New Series

This spin off from McIntyre Series is great. You can't help but fall in love with all of the characters. Listening to it on audible was just icing on the cake because you get Killian's sexy accent.

So good except...

FMC is so sure she is more capable than a former soldier with little to no good reason. A broken ankle isn't a paper cut pumpkin. You aren't going hand to hand with anyone on one foot. Nor are you staying upright upon gun recoil on crutches. "Oh no my armed security (who, again, is former military and thusly trained) will be outnumbered 2 - 1 and he needs me to even up the odds!" I get it, she is tough and independent. Real tough and independent ones know when to fight AND when to sit down and not be part if the problem. It ends up making her annoying and seemingly ridiculously self-centered. She doesn't care about the danger to him or anyone else that is brought on by having to watch for her ignoring his direction in order to prove she's tough. If you have to purposely prove it, it isn't true.

That said, a really good book otherwise. All hail Jacob.

Love the McIntyre Series

I love all of the books in this series. this one I was really looking forward to because I absolutely love Hannah and Killian. the whole story was great and very enjoyable to listen to. I do tedious work and this was a great stress reliever. I can't wait for the next book to come out.

Just Enough of What You Want in Romance

I read the reviews and was uncertain about liking it. There didn’t seem to be a lot of big action which I love or super steamy scenes based on the comments. But, as it turns out there were realistic action scenes and the love story unfolds at the right pace for a pair that had been dancing around each other for more than a year. The sex scenes were perfect and fit in naturally to the story. Overall, I’d say the story was good, the characters were real and I enjoyed the we entire book, from beginning to end. The narration was great.

Great book!

I really enjoyed the story line and have followed the Series. The narrating was powerful and I really like Jacob Morgan's performance. Thank you April Wilson for your incite into this romantic and nerve racking story. look forward to fallowing this couple and the others in the Macintire series.
