Another great book by Susan Stoker. I love the characters in this book and series. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I would recommend this book and all of Susan’s books. I listened to this book on audiobook.

how the story came about and the interaction of man 👨 woman 👩 and dog which the trust grew between them

how her so called bestie was so jealous that she was willing to take her life but justice was done through mother nature

protector potential falls short

great prologue and satisfying beginning. nice character development. unfortunately works too hard to convince with words and internal dialogues rather than allowing the story to convince with action, this making the story too prefictable. the beautiful setting and characters still.make the protector a good 'read'.

This story was too obvious. The outcomes were obvious and there were no surprises blah blah blah blah

Very satisfying and heartwarming! Strong male lead, no cheating, likeable heroine, and a dog! Yay!

Slightly Above Average

The writing was easy to follow, nicely detailed, and the characters were well-described. The storyline was cute, but predictable and slow moving. It had a hint of spice, but could easily have had more with these two characters. I will say there was a lot of repetitive, inner dialogue…but the book did have a twist, which was nice. Not sure I’m interested in the next book.

Worthy of a free listen with KU but I wouldn't buy it or re-listen.

Forced proximity, snowstorm, hero with PTSD, heroine running from ex-boyfriend/stalker, cute dog, overprotective hero.

Lots of cheezy parts and repetitive.

Same SS writing unlike what other reviews say - preachy, formulaic, and simple- probably aimed at teenagers or young 20-year-olds.

Narration was excellent.
