About this listen

This is the Wallace D. Wattles Trilogy audiobook collection. Included are The Science of Getting Rich, The Science of Being Great, and The Science of Being Well. The Science of Getting Rich
Wallace D. Wattles has helped millions of people achieve financial success. It was through his tireless study and experimentation that he discovered the truth of New Thought principles and put them into practice in his own life. He began to write books outlining these principles. He practiced the technique of creative visualization, and, as his daughter Florence relates, "He wrote almost constantly".

His most famous work is a book called The Science of Getting Rich, in which he explains how to get rich and live life in all of its abundance.

The Science of Getting Rich is a must-have audiobook for anyone who wants to create wealth and achieve financial independence.

The Science of Being Well
This book is an instructor in the use of the universal Principle of Life, and my effort has been to explain the way in so plain and simple a fashion that the reader, though he may have given no previous study to New Thought or metaphysics, may readily follow it to perfect health.

The Science of Being Great
There is a Principle of Power in every person. By the intelligent use and direction of this principle, man can develop his own mental faculties. Man has an inherent power by which he may grow in whatsoever direction he pleases, and there does not appear to be any limit to the possibilities of his growth.

absolutely unexpected

To my amazement this book was filled with far more biblical truth than I expected. The title and the text are not as equally yoked in the 21st century as I would have expected. I am well pleased, and I will only be able to recommend this to a select few at a time. life changing books!

This speaker is the best

There's many versions of this audio book, however this speaker is the easiest to listen to.

Great books very poorly narrated.

Love the content, but I felt all three narrations renditions were did not do justice to the value contained within. I recommend you consider selecting other narrators, it can make all the difference between having a great experience vs. feeling like you wasted a credit.

Love this!

Simple and straightforward. This book challenges those self imposed limitations by asking the listener to think about and visualize their intentions, and then take massive action toward the realization of a world that aleady exists if you can just see it in your mind. Whatever stands in your way, is put there and tolerated by you. It's up to you to understand that you are the creator. You are created in the image of God himself and have no limitations to your possibilities.

Recommended By Jen Sincero

In You Are A Badass at Making Money, author Jen Sincero continually refers to this guy, Wallace Wattles, as her source of inspiration. So I had to check him out. Wattles is a voice from about four generations ago, but distinctly New Age in his thoughts and practices. I like that. The truth is the truth and it's never changed. It is fun to hear him complaining about young people who can't get their noses out of novels! Kids never change, only the media does. The three books have blended together in my memory, but they all had value. I thought there were some really good practices in here overall, and some others that felt outdated (such as sleeping with the window open year-round, which isn't practical for extreme heat, or urban pollution, etc.).

GREAT books, Not-So-Great narrator

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Yes, very much so. Mr. Wattles' inspiring topics are well worth any effort to assimilate them. I will listen repeatedly to these contents, and internalize everything that I find useful.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Science of Getting Rich Trilogy?

The shock of hearing mispronounced words and misplaced emphasis in the narration ... mildly annoying, and mildly amusing. Thankfully, the content is more important to me than these nuisances. I learn a great deal by assimilation of Mr. Wattles' ideas, but I've also learned that I will decidedly avoid this narrator's work in future audio books.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Core Media Productions?

Mitch Horowitz, if possible. He understands this type of material, and performs the task of translating it to audible narration very well.

Any additional comments?

I chose this edition for two reasons: The extra content, and the clarity of the narrator's voice. Some of the other available editions have soft-spoken narrators who do not sound well to me over speakers, and must be heard only through earphones, so I checked the sample and chose this edition for the reasons I mentioned. However, having listened, I was pretty disappointed with the narrator's seeming unfamiliarity with the material. He mis-pronounced words, he placed emphasis in the wrong places, disregarded punctuation in many places, and even mis-read many words - substituting simpler words in places, that were spelled similarly to the written words. The performance of the narrator here was inexcusable in my opinion.

an essential book to read for any endeavor..

This program is a must read for understanding the fundamentals of achievement in any endeavor..not just financial success.

This author ranks up there with the great achievement thinkers of the past...and this program adds an additional approach and perspective to the power of thinking and how we all can acquire it...not just for money.

I have listened to it multiple times, and always get inspired, and excited. I keep asking the question..how did this guy come to all of these understandings at this time in history?

This is a must listen?..at least 3×
