In September 2019, Max Morgan boarded a vintage Twin Beech aircraft with his five co-workers and was pulled back in time to northern Germany 1,700 years earlier.
Max’s family found acceptance from the local villagers, and Max trained them in tactics to turn them into a cohesive fighting force that made the Romans nervous. His introduction of black powder grenades and the use of his firearms were significant force multipliers, but that did not stop the Romans from visiting tragedy on his tribe and his family.
Max vows, “Never again,” and takes the fight to the Romans. He’s going to ensure that his growing family, his adopted tribe, and all the Saxon people are safe from the Roman Empire forever, even if it means gathering an army to cross the Rubicon.

Add to that a set of magical resonants that made me an even bigger target to some of those Witch Families, some of which would rather kill me than let a rival get me.

I came to Oyster Cove to enjoy a leisurely summer of surf and sun, but I find out pretty quickly that there’s more to this town than meets the eye. My next door neighbor has eyes that are very similar to a cat’s, and I could have sworn the gorgeous waitress at my favorite food spot has scales on her legs.
