About this listen

With Miles' encouragement, Melody had accepted the physical changes wrought by ingesting monster fruit. But now, it was time to help her through everything else.

In the wake of the attack on Point City by Daeva, the military had devised a plan to insert Melody into Daeva's stronghold. To gain entry, Melody would have to use her new looks and put her best villain act on.

Miles was always there to help his ladies when they needed it, including assisting Melody in this nebulous project.

But fresh troubles cropped up for Miles at the Bureau of Superheroes, as Beatrix looked for him and files he'd had her delete from her computer, and she turned to their incendiary boss, Kim, for help. Was Miles' secret on the line, or would he manage to fly under the radar of these two superpowered ladies? Either way, Miles could not allow anything to stand in the way of his plan.

The best ongoing superhero adult story right now.

A lot of this book is about dealing with the fallout from the previous book, including character growth, and setting up the story for the next book. I'm glad that some authors are actually taking the time to explore their characters instead of pushing action at every turn.

Terrific third novel

Pros: Obsidian finally becomes part of the Harem
Cons: can’t reveal too many details of what happened to Miles and Co. that I felt should not have happened for spoiler reasons but suffice to say that it happens close to the end.
All in all , still a great series!

Good

I enjoyed this books, the only gripe I have with the series otherwise it would be perfect is that a certain someone is trying to join the harem and I really don’t want her to

Good book, get it on sale, good ending yet busy

I very much liked book one and two so I picked up three when it came out. I used one of my audible credits. The performance was exceptional as always. I very much like these two voice actors. I'm actually going to look for other projects they've been a part of. in regards to this particular story it just got a bit busy for my tastes. what the author seem to lead up to in book 1 and book two did not really crescendo here in book 3. it just kind of added more to it. in some ways this reminds me of the final season of heroes. episode 1 through 5 just added so much and so many directions that when you finally got to the final episode of this final season your left with a kind of like wait why did we go this direction. no matter how good the actors were the story just got a little busy. I'm looking forward to book four... however if it ends up being just as busy as book three I might end in this series. I still think the author who has a great imagination and I've picked up two other books of new series that he started . so far very much enjoy them.

Saving Supervillains #3

Introduction:
Greetings, fellow beings of HowlStrom. It is I, Kiba Snowpaw, the alpha male Ice Wolf of our icy realm. As the winter season engulfs our world once again, I find solace in the tales of other dimensions. Today, I bring forth my thoughts on "Saving Supervillains #3" by Bruce Sentar, a tale from a world where heroes and villains clash in a dance of power and intrigue.

Basic Plot Summary:
In the heart of Point City, chaos reigns as Daeva launches an attack. Melody, transformed by the mysterious monster fruit, is chosen to infiltrate Daeva's stronghold. With her new appearance and a villainous act, she becomes the key to the military's plan. Miles, ever the protector, stands by Melody, guiding her through this treacherous mission. However, as they venture forth, Miles faces his own challenges at the Bureau of Superheroes. Beatrix, a figure from his past, seeks files he once had her erase, turning to their fiery boss, Kim, for assistance. With secrets on the line and superpowered women on his trail, Miles must navigate this intricate web without faltering.

Analysis/Evaluation:
The tale is a complex weave of loyalty, power, and revenge. Sentar's world-building is commendable, crafting a universe where superheroes and villains are more than just their titles. The narrative explores the gray areas of morality, challenging the characters' beliefs and actions.

Characters:
Miles, the central figure, is a beacon of strength and determination. His dedication to Melody and his unwavering sense of duty make him a compelling protagonist. Melody's transformation, both physical and emotional, adds depth to her character, showcasing her resilience and adaptability. The dynamic between Miles and the women in his life, particularly Beatrix and Kim, adds layers of tension and intrigue to the story.

Structure:
The narrative flows seamlessly, with each chapter building upon the last. The pacing is well-balanced, allowing for moments of introspection amidst the action-packed sequences.

Impact:
"Saving Supervillains #3" leaves a lasting impression, challenging the notions of heroism and villainy. It serves as a reminder that every story has multiple facets, and every character, whether hero or villain, has their own tale to tell.

Praise and Critique:
The strength of this book lies in its character development and intricate plot. However, the expanding harem becomes a double-edged sword. While it adds layers of complexity to Miles' life, it also risks overshadowing the individuality of each character. Some readers have expressed concerns about the pacing and the introduction of new characters, feeling that it detracts from the core narrative.

Comparison:
In the vast expanse of superhero tales, "Saving Supervillains #3" stands out for its unique take on the genre. It delves deeper into the psyche of its characters, reminiscent of the introspective tales of our own HowlStrom legends.

Conclusion:
"Saving Supervillains #3" is a captivating tale that transports readers to a world of heroes, villains, and the blurred lines in between. It's a tale that resonates, reminding us that even in the coldest of winters, the warmth of a compelling story can provide solace. As the icy winds of HowlStrom howl outside, I find myself eagerly awaiting the next chapter in this enthralling saga.

May the frosty magic of HowlStrom guide you always.
