About this listen

I can’t have Elijah Iverson.

I can’t have him because he’s my older brother’s best friend. I can’t have him because I broke his heart five years ago; because he’s now engaged to someone else - someone kind and dependable who deserves his whiskey eyes, his soft mouth, his fierce intellect.

I can’t have Elijah because I’ve chosen God instead.

The Bell brothers, though...well, we don't exactly have the greatest track record with vows. But I’m determined to do this monk thing right - to pledge myself to a cloistered life and spend the rest of my years in chastity and prayer. But now Elijah’s here. He’s here and he’s coming with me on my European monastery road trip, and between the whispered confessions and the stolen kisses and the moments bent over an ancient altar, my vows are feeling flimsier by the day.

And vows or not, I know in my heart that it would take more than a good and holy monk to resist Elijah Iverson right now. It would take a saint.

And we all know that I’m no saint.

(This is the third full-length stand-alone in the Priest Collection, featuring Father Bell's brother, Aiden Bell. You do not have to read Priest or Sinner to read Saint.)

Great series!

I loved this series and am sad to have finished it. Jacob Morgan really is the perfect voice for these books.
Great steamy read but a wonderful love story too.

Wow

I don’t usually write reviews but I had to after reading this.

I have been a fan of her since I finished priest; it was an amazing book and the series has been wonderful. The writing, the character development, all of the little details MADE this book. As someone who battles atypical depression the line -“I told it to go, and it went!” Stopped me in my track. It’s true “sometime people who laugh the loudest and reach for life the hardest are the ones closest to darkness.” The love between them was beautiful, I cried happy tears at the end of the book.

Spiritual and Sensual

Amazing! When first reading about this series, I couldn't imagine how the author could bring together spirituality and sensuality in a respectful yet hotly believable way. Especially with the Catholic Church as the backdrop. But the author did just that. This story is about so much more than sensuality. It's about relationships with family, lovers, and yourself. This story is full of profound and intense moments. But also humor and hot sex! I am now a forever fan of this author!!

Second best book in the series! 2nd only to Priest

This book was (for lack of a better word) AMAZING!!!! Chapter 54 gave me chills!! The story is great if you are not uptight about stretching the believability of real-life occupations; if you can let go of the "that would never happen in real life" bs and just enjoy a fictional word. The spice and heat between these 2 - on point! I loved and adored their relationship and the love and respect they have for each other! I also loved that these were older charters and not your average 21-year-old couple of the romantic/erotic book world. HIGHLY recommend!
Amazon doesn’t have the first book 'Priest' listed as part of the series when you click the series link under the author information- I hate when they do that.
But they did recently change the numbers on some so it gets very confusing because they have it listed as:
Midnight Mass Book 2
Sinner Book 3
Saint Book 3 (<----See)
The correct reading order is:
Priest- 1
Midnight Mass- 2 (A short continuance of Priest BUT I don't think this book adds anything to the story, only takes away, I couldn't wait to finish it)
Sinner- 3
Saint- 4

What a surprise….a gay romance story!

This is my first. I think there’s room for a whole new category of romance. Miss Simone is such a talented writer. She obviously has a wide range of knowledge about a lot of things. I learned so much about the Catholic Church in this series of books about the Bell family. The story is highly emotional, and I still have dried tears on my cheeks while giving this review. It’s a moving love story and does not disappoint.

Saint

This is the third book in the Priest series. This is the story of Aiden and Elijah. This is a MM brothers best friend. Aiden was a young spontaneous millionaire that had to want for nothing. On the outside he was Mr happy-go-lucky. But on the inside he was battling depression and no one knew. He had everything including the guy. Then one day he got a text message that saved his life. He dropped everything and became a monk. Five years fast forward and he is still in love with Elijah. Jacob Morgan and Sean Crisden did an amazing job narrating this book.
