‘Compelling’ Debbie Howells

‘Engrossing, twisty tale’ Nell Pattison

But after three months go by without Sarah paying her rent, property manager Jenn enters the small London apartment to find a radio is playing, a small dining table set for three, and a decomposing body curled up on the sofa…

How is it possible that almost a year went by before someone found Sarah? Who has been paying her rent? Who was she expecting for dinner the night she died? Jenn is determined to uncover the mystery but has demons of her own to contend with…

A masterfully plotted, intelligent and emotionally riveting psychological thriller for fans of Sally Hepworth and Lisa Jewell.

Patients required

OK so who is really looking forward to this book and saved it to read during my birthday weekend. However, incredibly slow. The plot makes no sense to me, still cannot figure out the motive or even why there was any secrecy between the main characters. Just overall super slow, strange, and just got to the end hoping it would unravel all my questions but indeed it did not. Would not recommend

hard to get through

The only thing I'll remember from this book is , mummy. The whole thing is mostly her babbling on and on about the kid. Again it's one where the description sounds better than what you get.

It didn't need to be this long. Most I think can figure this out pretty quick.
