Good short story

I did find it a bit simplistic, the heroine was a bit annoying as she repeatedly jumped to conclusions about this seal team member's sudden absences. Livng in the Norfolk, Virginia beach area she would be more familiar with deployments and the military in general. I love my Navy family so set aside my regular audio books top celebrate veterans day with three deals. The narrator did a good job although the make voice was at times forced. I received a free copy if this title for an honest review.

I love a good Seal love story

I enjoyed the story and the chemistry between the 2 characters. The only thing I wish was that it was dual narration.

Alpha Seal

A yummy Alpha Seal romance read / listen. Well written with good story line and flow. A bit repetitive in some areas but overall this has just the right amount of sweet romance and steamy heat for this romance listener and enough of a storyline that it's more than just the bedroom. Both are struggling with the loss of past spouses and although they have sworn off love, the feeling they find themselves having for each other can't be denied.

Narration not so enjoyable

I loved Patrick and Rebecca’s story. I didn’t like the narrator’s voice.
Overall this is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ performance.

Recommended

This story could happen at anytime. I thoroughly enjoyed this couple. Both have had to be strong for various reasons. Past hurts have left scars yet they could still be honest about what they wanted. That was the first thing I noticed. Neither played any games about what they wanted from each other.

I felt the characterization was excellent as well as the overall story. I do think the passage of time was esqued and could use some work to be more clear. Sophie James did an incredible job narrating and bringing the story to life.

An Alpha man in ALL areas!

This is a nice story! I enjoyed the characters. It seemed to move along at a nice pace. I liked that he is very “Alpha” and wants control in all areas. His SEAL Buds were quickly in and out of the story so we didn’t get much to learn about them for future books. A good first book in the series.
I did listen to this on audio. Sophie James did a nice job portraying all the characters.

Sexy protective Navy Seals.

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. This is one of those stories that I hated to see end. The author did an incredible job of story and plot development. Both Patrick and Rebecca have suffered ex-spouse and spouse losses and aren't looking for relationships. Both have one young child. I like how there is instant chemistry between them, but they take it slow because of the children. This story contains mystery, stalking, action, two loveable kids, sexy protective Seals, and hot sensual love scenes. You can feel the love radiating from these two. You can't help but love and cheer them on.

The narrator does a stellar performance of portraying the emotions and personalities of these characters. She gives distinctive voices to them. She is easy to listen to and enjoy. I highly recommend this Audible book.

Good story

I enjoyed the story and the fact that it had some drama as well. My problem was the narration of the male character. He sounded forced and unsure of what the next word was. I would like to read/listen to the next book but with a different narrator.

I was so psyched when I listened to this, hearing the story is set in the city I grew up in! I love that these two were destined to be together, being they were both in similar circumstances. It's perfect to listen to when you're looking for a short and steamy romance!
