About this listen

The visit to Teira brought more questions than answers for Asterios and his companions. But, the things they discovered provided them with a strong lead. In its pursuit, they headed toward the Demon Continent, checking on Grea and Tina on their way to the coast. Receiving a request from Guildmaster Suanori to take a look at the port town Nebula during their departure, Ast's party arrived right in front of it just to notice something unusual from the distance....

Asterios and his friends might learn that Guildmaster Suanori's worry isn't completely unfounded as they dive straight into a conflict none of them could have expected. Will they be able to push through all of them and reach their final destination safely? Will they require the help of a new summon or someone even more powerful to solve them? What even is the nature of the issue troubling Nebula?

They are soon going to see for themselves.

It's a well developed story.

The Narration is great. The story this volume started taking the MC into the wider world which it needed. Already got the next volume so let's see if it keeps it up.

Great vocal performance!

Wonderful performance! I really enjoy reading Saileri's books. Listening to them is even better. The dual of Jonathan Waters and Ellory Lane really make the characters come to life. The story is great, which is why I read the book some time ago, but listened to it because of the excellent voice acting. Worth listening to.

Another fantastic addition to ROTWS series

Another fantastic addition by J. R. Saileri to the Rise of the Weakest Summoner series. This book has a good amount of power progression for Asterios and his girls. There is not much interaction with the old continent, which is nice. This book is focused mostly on the trip to the demon continent along with a side issue here and there. And of course, Asterios has likely picked up a new member of his Fanclub, and she’s a fiery one at that. As usual, Jonathan Waters and Ellory Lane performed amazing for the book. I eagerly await book 5 in the series.

Anime in book form

There's a lot to love here. Interesting world building, lots of secrets to uncover both about our orphaned MC and shady organizations. The writing and tropes are very anime inspired which is a double edged sword. I kinda like it but I do feel like it sometimes gets in the way of itself.
The author is improving his writing but he's a bit hampered by inexperience, lack of editing and English not being his native language. Nevertheless he makes up for it with a vibrant world with fun characters.
Jonathan Waters does an excellent job bringing it all to life. Ellory Lane mostly does a good job. I think it might be a less-than-optimal setup or audio engineering hindering her because, as an example, her more calm parts sound too quiet and generally the audio mix feels off and sometimes there's a lack of clarity. I can't fault the enthusiasm she brings and her performance is still good.

Just enthralled with this series

The story is a fresh take on the genre and the MC is like able with his companions just the best. In this installment of the series there are two lewd chapters that are identified by heart icons in the chapter name that make it easy to skip and the listener won’t miss out on plot.

The narrator continue their outstanding performance in this series with “S Rank” performance.

I cannot wait to start the next book
Totally found myself binging this whole book in a day which is unusual for my listening habits mostly being 4 1/2hrs a day to 6hrs. Truck driver so I don’t usually listen to them on my down time saving them for the road.
