She Did Indeed Reign Supreme

This was absolute PERFECTION!!! The story was magnificent, and it flowed so beautifully. Everything about it was balanced just right…between the storyline, the world building, the characters’ personalities, the spice, the humor, the pain, the heartache, the mystery, and of course, the chaotic love story between our beautifully flawed characters, Reign & all her guys. Celia was so amazing at bringing all the different aspects of Reign’s personality to life, as well as matching the
energy & voices of the guys. As for Vincent, while he was everything I could want for all the guys characters, I will admit to loving him as Raff’s voice the most. There was just something about how he said “Miss Harrow” that just made butterflies swoop through my insides lol. I can’t say enough about this story, and the amazing dual narration of it. I’m even more excited for Beck’s story to be brought to life now 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

A good reverse harem rockstar romance

I won't lie, this isn't the best work of K.A. Knight. There is some repetition, certain parts appear to be too good to be true, and the insta luv is somewhat rushed, which does not feel right. I struggle to connect with Reign because I am not into the brat attitude.
BUT
This is, like always, a good reverse harem. Each character has their own personality. My favorite is always the psycho one, so Dal has my heart.
I really like the “burn the patriarchy” / villain era vibe.
I love the smitten Astro, the sweet Cillian and the protective Raffiel.
You’ll find a perfect dose of spice (4.5🌶️/5)

Overall, this is a good story with good plots and some flaws.

Tropes:
Rockstar
Ex military / bodyguards
Villain area
Fast pace / Slow burn.
Found Family
Stalker

TW
Child abuse
Suicide attempt
SA

Long may she Reign! 5 brilliant stars

KA Knight delivered an absolute knockout of a book with this one and I cannot wait for the next book about Beck and her men! Okay so now to fan girl a bit cause Reign is a total baddie and I absolutely loved her character. She has had a rough go of it all from her childhood to everything with Tucker that all you want is for this woman to be happy. Her character has so many layers to it and once you think you have a handle on who she is, she showed us a whole new side to her. I loved her as a boss lady and as the vulnerable scared girl too.

I was super surprised that the men weren’t my favorite characters in this book. Obviously Reign was but these guys were still pretty great. Raffiel is the clear leader in the group and gives off all sorts of daddy vibes. I love how he lets Reign lead outside of the bedroom but inside it is a whole other story. He protected her body and her soul with everything he has. It was sweet and so spicy at times.

Dal is the crazy one but like in a good way, ya know? He is fiercely loyal to Reign and the guys and is truly a scary weapon when needed. I loved seeing his jealous and possessive side come out where he would be absolutely unhinged at times. I definitely thought he’d be the darkest in bed but I was surprised by how not dark he was. He was giving me all the Diesel vibes but none of the crazy kinks.

Cillian and Astro were much lighter characters when compared to Raff and Dal. Astro is the goof of the group and the most lovable golden retriever while a Cillian is just out overall good guy. They each are playful with Reign and bring so much lightness to the story when it gets a bit heavy.

Katie can absolutely write the heck out of a RH why choose romance and she delivers some of the very best plots in her standalone without making them 9,000 pages long. The stalker aspect of the plot was on the more subtle side and focused heavily on their instant connection and growing those relationships even with enough baggage to fill a 757 among the five of them. I wasn’t surprised by the drama that unfolded towards the end of the book but that didn’t mean that it wasn’t spectacular. I loved every minute of their journey and I could not put this book down!

Revolt

Reign, Raff, Dal, Cillian, and Astro. Reign disappears from the limelight after she discovers her fiancé cheating on her with her best friend. Upset she takes off to find herself. When she comes back, she is determined to not let anyone control her and her life. She approaches her record label with this no shite attitude and they agree. Raff, Dal, Cillian, and Astro served together and have been working together as bodyguards ever since. Their most recent task, finding who is stalking Reign. It is easier said than done since Reign has no interest in staying still and letting them protect her.
Tensions were high in this book, in more ways than one. Reign was entertaining to say the least. I also enjoyed the dynamic of the guys. Their personalities had me entertained. The narrators were really good and brought the story to life for me. I’m really looking forward to the next one.

Don’t do it

I really tried to get into this book, but it just went on and on about the same thing. It repeated over and over the same storyline without getting to any specific points. It just detailed about the main character having it rough being a famous singer and yes that life can be difficult I’m sure, but I would like to read about more than just her having such a hard time being a female artist over and over again. Maybe talk more about the 4 main male character’s back/life stories.
It honestly was like reading my grocery list over and over for the past 14 hour’s.
The narrators were good! I’m sure it’s difficult to narrate 4 different men, but he did a good job and so did the female narrator.
K.A. Knight is also a good author and I’ve liked other books from them, but this book just wasn’t for me and I wouldn’t waste a credit on it.
