He falls first!

Cierra and Greyson first meet when Greyson comes to pick up nephew from school where she is the librarian. When Cierra finds out the man she helped put behind bars is being released from jail soon, she proactively seeks out a self-defense course. Greyson can't believe his luck! This is his chance to keep Cierra in his sights for the foreseeable future. He's just a little bit jealous of his coworkers with their significant others and settled lives. He wants what they have. He falls hard and fast for Cierra. His protective mode is on at all times. Sigh...

What makes this story and the entire series enjoyable is the choice of narrators. Mackenzie Cartwright and Troy Duran embody the characters so wholeheartedly. When Cierra is scared, I can feel it in Mackenzie's tone of voice. When Greyson is in protective mode, Sebastian's voice takes on this gruff, but authoritative tone.

Drama, Emotion, & Beautiful Bonds!

Revenge is filled with drama, emotions and beautiful bonds! Greyson and Cierra are a dynamic couple with robust lives and passion for helping others. As a school librarian, Cierra’s mostly quiet life is upended at the beginning of the novel and while the threat is not overt or direct, the drama and suspense builds wonderfully as the story progresses. Greyson is the ultimate book boyfriend—protective alpha with a caring soul who treats people with respect and his woman like a queen. Their meet cute is funny and sweet with a little bit of heat, and the energy flowing between them grows as the love story progresses, providing the perfect blend of all the feels and so much more.

The narrators were outstanding in their roles, bringing an entire new level of life to these robust characters. I loved listening to Cierra and Grayson interact, their internal monologues, and my favorite scene involved cake and the other Ops guys—so well done! This was such a great listen all around—I highly recommend this audiobook!

Great addition to the series

Once again the author delivers a winner in this series. If you are new to the series, Harper Security Ops is not only a security firm, but also a tactical and self defense training center.
This time the story belongs to operative Greyson West. When Cierra Wallace , a school librarian, comes to their property for defense lessons, Greyson senses there is a reason beyond just wanting to defend herself. As part of the self defense group, he gets a chance to spend one on one time with Cierra.
The attraction develops and secrets from Cierra’s past are reveal. Her good deed years ago, put a criminal in jail. But now that he’s out, her life is in danger.
Greyson will do everything to keep her safe. But will he be able to do that?
If so, will these two find their HEA or will they go their separate ways?
In this latest addition to the series, once again, the listeners are presented with well developed and likable main characters. This listener always appreciates that not only are the male main characters in the series sensitive and tender to female characters but they are also men of honor while the female characters are strong and perfect for them.

Love the performance

I’ve read both the book and listened to it. The book was great, but the audiobook, wow! There is something about listening to it when Troy Duran voices Greyson. Yep! All the feels. A great book that felt different listening to it.

Grayson and Cierra!

Book 19 of the Harper Security Ops Series by AK Evans.

Troy Duran and MacKenzie Cartwright are two of my favorite narrators. They each bring something unique to the characters they are portraying! Such a great job with this book!

Book 19 gives us Grayson and Cierra. Grayson loves his job and loves helping not only his teammates but his family as well. Grayson meets Cierra when he has to pick up his nephew from school and the sparks began to fly right then.
Cierra content with her life, laying low and doing a job she loves!

Sparks fly and love begins to bloom between Cierra and Grayson but when he past begins to show itself, she is determined to learn how to keep herself safe. Spending time with Grayson isn’t really a hardship either. After learning why Cierra wants to learn self-defense, Grayson will stop at nothing to keep her safe.

Greyson is top tier book boyfriend material!

The men of Harper Security Ops are protectors to their core, and Greyson quickly made his way to the top of the pack for me. I loved that he talked about the other men pairing off and that he was looking for the same thing they had with their partners. A man that isn't afraid to show his feelings and says what he wants is a rare gem.

Greyson was fiercely loyal, and cared for those that mattered to him with everything he was. He was a true golden retriever and that made him all the more endearing. Cierra and Greyson meet when he picks his nephew up from the school she teaches at, and they both feel a spark but keep on with their day. When Cierra's past heroism comes back to potentially harm her, she ends up at HSO looking for self defense classes. To her surprise Greyson is there and volunteers himself to be her teacher. The HSO crew knew what was up with that and it was so funny to have the team testing him when they all started right where he was at.

The tension was thick but the burn was slow and teasingly delicious. If we know anything about the HSO men, they fall hard and fast and Greyson was all in from day one. Their relationship was sweet and a little spicy with all the drama and suspense we've come to love about this series. Troy Duran and MacKenzie Cartwright were the perfect pair to tell Greyson and Cierra's story. They delivered all the emotions to match the characters and storyline in a way that made you truly feel the story and feelings of the characters. I love that A.K. Evans always picks the perfect narrators to tell her stories.

Two Sweethearts!!

Greyson may be the sweetest of all the HSO men. I absolutely fell in love with him.

Cierra is equally as sweet with such a big heart for her students. Throughout the book I just loved the kindness she showed to her students and the way she encouraged their love for reading. The love and care she pours into her students really showed when she was just as concerned with protecting them from a threat meant for her as she was for her own safety. THAT is what a teacher is all about. She knew there was potential for this threat long before it actually was. Although scared, she didn't let the fear overtake her. She set out to find means to protect herself and her students. I love a sweet, soft spirited woman who also knows when to step up and take charge of her life.

Greyson & Cierra were truly meant for each other and I just loved seeing their relationship grow. Something special about this book, knowing the series is nearing its end, is seeing how ALL the guys (and girls) step up to help, support, and love each other. Even when one book ends, the characters continually pop other in other books to support their fellow workers and friends. One thing this series has shown time, and time again is a family is who you choose! HSO is a FAMILY and everyone matters. I just love that.

Greyson and Cierra

In an absolutely lovely story of Greyson and Cierra, we revisit Harper Security where Cierra decides to get self defense lessons after she finds out a man she helped put in jail was released. After meeting Cierra at his nephew's school, Greyson was intrigued with her and jumped at the chance to teach Cierra self defense and hopefully get to know her some. As their growing attraction blossoms, we see some magnificent communication from the couple when they realize there was misunderstanding. Some hilarious situations with the other guys as they get their playful revenge on Greyson who did much the same when they were getting to know their women. This all to say, I loved this book and the narrators were perfect for this couple.

My attention was hooked

Greyson and Cierra's story was a great listen. I enjoyed how they met and how the story progressed a lot. My attention was hooked, wondering how the danger and suspense was going to develop. The narrators were terrific at bringing the characters to life as they fell in love and battled the baddie for a happy ending.
