About this listen

Humanity on the run. Desperate base building. Dark deeds done during daylight.

Joe has started to draw attention to himself and his abilities. While some of the attention is good and allows for personal growth, most of it is from various organizations that feel threatened by the sudden upswing of power that Joe's guild - The Wanderers - is attaining.

As the threat to Earth begins to reach its peak, all of humanity has a choice: flee to Eternium, or stay for an uncertain future. Some stay, some go, some don't make the choice quickly enough. In Ardania, the human Kingdom is seeing an unprecedented influx of people. Supply and demand is an issue no matter where you go, as a civilization of a few million can't prepare to accept an eighth of Earth's inhabitants at once.

Joe sets out to solve problems where he can, but he can't be there for everyone...especially when a group of smiling enforcers are working to bring him down.

Great story, narration better than Eternium

I loved Lukes reading of Rexxus but very much disliked his reading of Eternium, to the point I couldn't even follow the story. For Raze his reading works out ok, it's different but I was still able to enjoy the story - unlike Eternium. There may be an important difference worth noting though: I didn't listen to book 2 right before this and it was ok, while I did relisten to book 4 of the dungeon series before book 5 and it was jarring. Perhaps hold off if you just listened to book 2, let the voices fade before you listen with the new narrator.

As for the story, it's as addictive as the others and I can't wait for more!

STOP CHANGING NARRATORS!!

This should be a 5 star review, but they keep changing narrators. Pick one and go. It’s ridiculous to get used to one set of voicing a and then have another foisted upon you! It’s a great series and a good story, but the narrator switch is super annoying!

Disappointed by Narrator Change

This is an entertaining LitRPG series, though a little light on any sort on character complexity or emotional depth that you may get from some other series. However, despite liking Luke Daniels narration in general, changing from Vikas Adam mid-series is disjointing and on top of that I do not really like where Daniels has taken the characters, nor do I think he is doing a particularly good job in this series so far.

Great book Stop complaining about the narrator

If you pay attention in the first chapter the author pokes fun at the fact that everything sounds different cause Joe got a new Skill. Makes the Book even funny er IMO

A great time!

Really enjoyed this book. Oddly enough the change in narrator wasn’t nearly as noticeable for me as it was with Divine Dungeon series. Possibly since it’s been a while since I listened to Regicide. It honestly didn’t effect anything for me. I’d dare say I prefer Luke Daniels no offense to Vikas Adams.

The Secret isn't so Secret

There is a part of he book where it skips what the hero does, which if you're paying attention to the book you know what exactly what they do, then you're just waiting for the said thing to be reveled, kinda to be expected with such a short book, but overall nice fun short and enjoyable.
