laugh out loud, mystery, and angst

loved the narrators and how different the voices were. they complemented each other so well.
this one brought be to tears at the end but was still extremely spicy. ka knights writing never disappoints.

These Narrators are Amazing!

I read this book as a traveling book and I am so glad I listened to the audio at the same time. They made the book even better!

💜Racing hearts was my second K.A. Knight book, and it did not disappoint!! The minute the audio turned on, I couldn't turn it off. I put all of my adult responsibilities to the side and devoured this book. The narration was absolutely phenomenal. Knowing this was Katie's first MM book impresses me even more because it was phenomenal!! The characters were amazing and well developed. The plot was phenomenal, and the twists and turns had me in the edge of my seat the entire book. Also, let's not forget about the spice because that was also 🥵. Alek & Evan now hold a giant place in my heart, and I'm unsure how Katie is going to top this couple for me because they were absolutely top-tier!! I can not wait for book 2 and the continuation of this series🖤

Wow. Loved it.

Tbh, I got to this book in an odd way. I kept seeing things about book two in the series ( pre-release ) and added that one to my tbr. I don't know how I missed that it was book two... when I bought it, I realized it's book two and bought this one too ( and the audiobook ). God, I'm glad I didn't jump straight into book two.

Evan and Alek were an odd pair from day one, but in the best possible way. These two are so amazing together that there's no other way for them to not end up together.

Their story is not easy to navigate. They have lots of setbacks, but when they finally give into the love they feel for each other, it is absolutely infinite.

They both needed each other in order to grow, heal, and move on, but I am so glad Evan didn't give up on Alek. He needed someone to fight for him, remind him that he is important, and that he does matter. When he started to realize how loved he was, we got to see another side of Alek that was hidden under all that hurt and trauma.

This book was a perfect example of plot and spice. We got both in spades, and I loved how balanced it was.

The found family in this one is AMAZING, and I can't wait to read Sky's and Bones' book. We got hints in this one, and I'm so giddy when I think about them, but I also hope we'll see more of Evan and Alek cuz I'll miss my babies so much.

Please check the TW before starting the book since it does have some dark themes, but damn it was fantastic.

oh, and if you like audiobooks, listen to it. The audionook is also a 5✨️. Christian Leatherman and Emil Archer did a superb job. I'll have to check more of their work.

Wow! Absolutely loved this book!

I’ve been a KA Knight fan for 6 Years or more now. I’ve read and own all of her books. I’ve also listened to almost all of her books that are on audio. All of that said reading her first MM novel was a must for me.

This books was amazing. The narrator’s were chefs kiss. I loved the story and the characters. I loved that the story wasn’t all butterflies and rainbows. It had heart, sadness, emotional growth among the characters, and spice. It hooked me in and I didn’t want to stop listening.

I’m so excited to listen to Book 2 is this stand alone interconnected series. I know there is way more to Bones and can’t wait to play his layers in the next book.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who love a good Dark MM Romance. Please pay attention to the TW if some content are an issue for you.

The story was okay, I kind of wanted more. It was a little slower paced than I’m use to with KA Knight’s books. The narrators were okay but just didn’t grab me.

I loved this book! The narrators did awesome! The plot and twists kept it exciting and the emotions were on point. Fantastic read!

Not what I expected

I wish Audible had a half star rating system, this was 4.5 ⭐️ read for me. This books was good, I was a little skeptical because Den of Vipers was not for me. The characters were well developed and the spice was perfect, the one thing that seemed a little crazy is the mystery/suspenseful part. It seemed like a last minute thought that was thrown in but still enjoyable.
