another good book by this author

I love this book.. I like the different layers of the story.. the only reason I didn't give it all five stars in performance is because of the New Orleans accent. Not the best 😕 😒

Total package

This was an enjoyable read. I dont know if the Louisiana accents were authentic but they added character to the listening experience. I enjoyed the many characters especially the main hero and heroine. They all had depth. The plot was good too. you were not really kept guessing about who the bad guys were as they were revealed pice but piece throughout the book with the final one at the end. But even that one was not much of a surprise. it was a long book but kept me entertained in a long drive. I recommend

It’s hot in the Bayou….

First let me say I’ve had the pleasure of listening to all of Karen Rose’s work. I love them all but Gabe takes the chocolate cake! This is a great story with fantastic character development. I hope this becomes s series. I’m not ready to be done yet!

Couldn't put it down!!

I listened to this audio book and finished it in less than two days. It was so good I couldn't put it down. It was funny, sad, intriguing and nail biting at times. I loved it! Can't wait to see some of the characters again especially the older ladies 😁

5 star narration

This is one of my favorite KR books to date. The narration is flawless. I'm looking forward to the next book in the New Orleans series.

Doesn’t disappoint

I always love a Karen Rose books and the series that is forever intertwined. Our do fun to meet new characters the touch the lives of our favorite characters.

Loved it

I love this new storyline shes writing and the characters are compelling. I also enjoy that it was slightly less cop worshiping than some of her previous works and showed the bad and the good side of them.

Loved it, never a dull moment. Full of action, excitement and suspense. just a really good story.
