Troias Drakos awakens to find that the world he knew is gone, and a new reality has risen to take its place. Most of Earth's life was killed in a single instant, and those that survived have been granted powers and abilities that seem almost magical. Unfortunately, this world is filled with terrors and monsters that are equally powerful...or far more so. Only by uniting and learning to use their new abilities will humanity survive.

Excellent!

this was a really good story. I enjoyed it quite a bit. narrator was okay

excellent

I like this one a lot. it's definitely a solid example of the apocalypse litrpg genre, but doesn't get annoyingly persistent with the Stat sheets. I'm pretty sure it also has some unique elements concerning worldbuilding in a pretty literal way, but time will tell. Anyway, if you enjoy this genre at all, definitely recommend this series.

Action packed story

I reallly enjoyed this book. it wasn't your normal gamer fantasy turned into a book. The storyline and characters had depth. the leve and magic system was new and well thought out.

litRPG Fun

Overall, it's a solid book. You won't find anything groundbreaking, but it's enjoyable--a good setup for a fun series.

Enjoyable system apocalypse

Fun system apocalypse base building novel. I like the characters and look forward to the next book. The narrator was good but has some trouble differentiating different characters. Overall an enjoyable book!

book reminds me alot of shadow sun or sys apoc just hope the series keeps up being this good gotta say the end of the epilog was a great cap to the book tho

Good book

I liked the story it dragged a couple places but all in all fast paced. Maybe I'm just spoiled but the narrator seemed to be monotoned if that's the correct word. Just his voice felt like a droning that would put me to sleep. I fought through it and enjoyed the story. OP MC but he is needed to help people. I'll buy the next book but I'm hoping the get more pizazz out of the narrator or something. The whole time I listened to this I felt like was listening to an old Indian chanting.

Pretty straight-forward Apoc LitRPG.

Good credit usage.

What I liked in particular: MC is 42 - I am 43 and enjoy MCs in my age range for obvious reasons; I liked the martial components; the base building is fun; good banter with female side kick, but not too much; and there are some good Cultivation Insights in there, if that is your thing.

I was actually quite surprised how good this was.

When looking over this book and reading some of the reviews of a bit hesitant about getting this. After having it for while I decided to finally listen to it and was quite surprised at how good is it. It’s good enough for me to get the next book and if that holds up in the next.
