About this listen

Miller "Buck" Butterson has been banging his way through life ever since a puck to the face fixed his messed-up front teeth. After five years in the NHL, deflecting goals on the ice and scoring them with puck bunnies, Miller has decided he's ready for a girlfriend. A real, nonbunny girlfriend to take on dates and not jump into bed with after five seconds of conversation.

Miller thinks he's found that woman in his teammate's sister. Except, unlike team captain and all-around nice guy Alex Waters - who happens to date his stepsister - Miller's media reputation as a manwhore is well earned. Beyond that minor detail, Miller doesn't know the first thing about relationships or the time and effort they require.

Miller learns - eventually - that if he wants to make Sunshine "Sunny" Waters fall for him, he's going to have to do a whole lot more than show her his stick skills in the bedroom.

Miller and Sunny

Miller and Sunny's story was interesting. I found myself kinda irritated most of the book. There was alot of childish antics, interference from friends and family, and misunderstandings.

unrealistic and balless guy

unrealistic and too polite guy. I'm sorry but if some chick in a camp post pictures of my balls and crops a picture when I told her I have a girlfriend I'm going to tell her yo stop her shit and fuck off. if I get to a function and it's full of naked women I'm leaving right away. it's just too many dumb and preventable situations. I had to review and I'm not even through the whole book. I hope it gets better, but so far I'm disappointed

Loving this series...

I’m really loving this series. You don’t have to know much about hockey to enjoy. I have shed tears and laughed out loud. Narration makes me feel like I’m watching a movie when listening. I’ll continue on to the 3rd book.

Amazing

Love Sunny and Miller. Sunny is a easy going fun loving woman. Miller is a typical horny hockey player. So glad they found each other. They make a great fun loving couple.

Bad Boy Hockey Player....YES, Please!!

I really enjoyed this bad boy hockey player that we have with "Buck" and that he wants to change his ways. He was sensitive and sweet but also very alpha male in some of his actions. I enjoyed how natural "Sunny" felt as I listened to her parts of the story, I do wish there had been a female narrator but completely understand why there wasn't one since this was mainly about "Buck's" journey to self-awareness. I look forward to the rest of this series and can't wait to see what other craziness these hockey players can get into.

Pucked up

3.5 Stars

I haven’t read a male POV only book in a while and I kind of missed the duel POV. But I guess it worked better that way for the storyline. Miller often questioned what Sunny was thinking and if we knew then this just wouldn’t have been the same. It did keep me entertained and I felt bad for Miller. Dyslexia is not an easy thing to live with. I didn’t feel that much of a connection with Sunny but again maybe that’s because I didn’t get in her head as much as I’m used to.

Male POV. Hockey teammate’s little sister. Lots of spice.

Another fantastic book in this series!!! I love how this book seamlessly continued from the first book Pucked. DEFINITELY read Pucked before this book as it provides background information and introductions of Miller and Sunny. Plus, you’ll see a lot of the other characters from Pucked in this book as well. If you love a super interconnected romance series, then you’ll love this! It’s an intriguing storyline with excellent character development and lots of spice!

This book is a sports romance novel involving a teammates little sister. We meet both Miller, aka Buck and Sunshine, aka Sunny in Pucked. To put it simply, Miller plays in the NHL and Sunny is his team captain’s sister. The plot of this book picks up right where that one left off so you’ll have to catch up on their history there! I love that this book now gets into Miller’s POV and tells us exactly what he’s thinking and feeling about the whole situation. Which also means lots of sexual references and comedy as Miller does not hold back. He was a complete player in Pucked and now this book starts with him swearing off the bunnies as he wants Sunny to be his girlfriend. I love how hard Miller is trying in this book to be a good person for her. He has such good intentions and is so sweet with Sunny. My heart melted every time he called her “Sunny Sunshine.” However Miller keeps getting himself into sticky situations that don’t look good when he’s portrayed in the media. Will Sunny put up with it? Or will she be the one to change him?

This book is narrated from just Miller’s perspective by Joe Arden. I thought I’d miss having a duel narration but Joe’s voice kept me completely captivated and interested in hearing everything from Miller’s thoughts and POV. He did so well articulating Miller’s feelings and emotions over the course of the book. A very enjoyable listen!

While I enjoyed this books, it was nothing like Pucked at all. I was expecting extremely funny but it was only a little funny to me, unless Violet was talking of course! Buck is a good guy underneath it all and Sonny is sweet and innocent...kinda. Poor Buck has the worst luck, no matter what he's doing things always look like he's doing something wrong. This book had a lot of drama and a lot of HOT sex. The narrator wasn't my favorite but I didn't think it was awful, just ok.

Buck is sooo cute!

I'll be honest, I didn't think much of Buck/Miller after the first book, but seeing his side and understanding his character much more, I'll admit I was totally wrong! He's adorable and sweet and so perfect for Sunny. I didn't think I would enjoy this as much as I did and I'm glad I was wrong. If you liked the first one definitely keep going, so far they just keep getting better!
