loved rix and tristan

firstly, i will never look at a cucumber the same way again. 😳

this book was hella steamy, dear lord rix and tristian were scorching. yeah in the beginning they hated each other, but it didn’t stop the sexual tension that was ever present and when they finally gave in, it was downright electric. aside from them being compatible in the bedroom, there was a deeper emotional connection they shared. they were exactly what the other needed, and the way that tristian opened up to rix and let her see his vulnerable side was immense, as was the trust they had in one another. they were amazing together and i couldn’t get enough of them.

if you hate me was a delicious forbidden, hate to love and hockey romance. i loved both the girl gang and the bro gang so much. i am itching for more of this series, especially the next book. i. am. ravenous.

loved this - would’ve preferred a duet but the story was a perfect mix of sweet and smutty. loved how it sets up other characters for subsequent books in this series. i’m already invested to see where this series goes.

Holy Cucumber!

Brothers Best Friend. Hate to Lovers. Hockey Romance.

This story line focuses more on the MC, it was refreshing to see the author unpack certain triggers through a males perspective.

Sex scenes were extremely spicy! Be prepared for some jaw dropping scenes.

Spicy enemies to lovers for sure - narration great on both sides (and I am super picky) -hot got hot be sure your up for that kind of ride! Maybe only thing Bex could have put a hot more of a fight once on a while -gave a couple eye rolls bit overall A.

Great Story but Too Long

This is a great story with great characters and great narrators. I loved the relationship that the main characters had! However, it took 7 chapters to get to the first spicy scene, which felt like forever. The spicy scenes were terrific! My only problem was that I felt like this book was 3-4 hours too long.

Helena - this book is 🔥🔥🔥HOT🔥🔥🔥!!! I love Bea’s and Tristan’s story so much.
If you’re going to listen to this book with others around - make sure you have some headphones on.
The story is so so good!!! The characters are amazing.
I love the throwbacks.
The narrators - DAMMMMN!!!! Connor Crais can read the DMV handbook to me and have my undivided attention. CJ’s voice is so sweet, heartfelt, and made me laugh out loud when she read and punctuated certain parts.

I WILL be listening to this story again - immediately.

Yes Toronto!

As a Toronto native this book gave me so much more than I expected. I went in blind with 100% faith in Helena Hunting. I am in love with the hometown references that made this book so much more special to me. Props to Connor and CJ Bloom for pronouncing all the Canadian-isms like a native (aside from toque but that is a tricky one).
Tristan was beyond and I mean that in the best way, you almost lost me at the cucumber but I could never have a DNF from Helena so I kept going and I am so glad I did.
I cannot wait for this series to unfold. I know Helena was nervous tot release this new world but I can say with 100% confidence there won’t be a reader out there who doesn’t fall in love with the Toronto Terror and all of these characters.
