About this listen

I am the law! Well, kinda. More like a bounty hunter, but I still put a foot up the @$$ of injustice and bring criminals down.

Only, this time things didn't go as planned. This time, as I was delivering my criminals to be placed in the Abaddon Asylum, everything fell apart when an uprising tore down the system and led to my ship exploding before I could get out of there.

Now it's up to me and some sexy lady allies (and then some!) I've teamed up with along the way to put things right. But we're not just going to stop the uprising. Our mission goes much deeper than that, into the planet itself where all manner of horrors await.

Oh, and we call ourselves the Psychobitches. And yeah, I f@cking own it like a crown.

NOTE: Listen on, friend, if you're a fan of explosions galore, superpowers and leveling up, monster girls and tiny fairies who are all freaks in the sheets, and crazy ladies who could just as easily slit your throat as bring you to the point of more bliss than you've ever thought possible. Take it, it's yours!

Great Mixture of Action and Passion

Jamie Hawke's most recent work is a pretty quick read, and at just under 6 hours rather entertaining listen. Ezra's a chill dude trying to play it straight as he takes three prisoners to space prison when all Gehenna breaks lose. Fortunately he has the assistance (and at times, affections) of three titular psychotic women to help kick rear end and take names... and it turns out names aren't really worth stealing, so it's mostly just the former. It's pretty obvious this book is a set-up for a few more in the series, but that doesn't come off as a detriment here. Overall this is an easy audiobook to listen to if you're a fan of Mr. Hawke's, and an easy entry point for those unfamiliar with his vast number of franchises.

Almost binged the story from start to finish.

Really good start for an amazing series. I wish it were longer instead of 5 hours

Loved the narrator

This audiobook was interesting but profanity was overused and at points it seemed the author wanted to be more edgy than applicable to the story. The main narrator had a fantastic voice I would listen to him all day, he had a deadpan voice that really was enjoyable. The real problem with this audiobook is it needs remixed at points the cast sounds like they are talking in a can in the next scene they are over loud and sound effects are more distracting than helpful.

Tear it Up Bitches

SUPERS saga elevated to a level of excellency! Loved this audiobook. The narrator did an exceptional job narrating and in dialogue. The female voices were just as cool. This book is so good that I also recommend the audiobook to get the full experience like I did. I will most definitely be first in line for the audiobook of Tear It Up 2.

Alrighty then

First audiobook where the sound effects are background and don't cause the narrators to pause or get overwhelmed... was really nice for a change.

Story is what you'd expect from Jamie Hawke and his weird universe of supers.

Full Throttle Fun!

This is my very first Jamie Hawke book. Why did I wait until now? This was a wild ride I am going to tell you right off the bat. It was a full throttle thrill ride from start to finish. A lot of folks will miss out due to the graphic harem stuff and that’s ok. I understand there are some very risqué sections no doubt.
The book has a really fun superhero/scifi vibe. The MC is a bounty hunter who catches “nutjobs” or who he thinks are nutjobs and puts them away. As the story progresses he finds out that may not be the case and he may be on the wrong side of the equation. The audio book is full of action and humor. I liked all the characters from the main character to all the harem girls. I have not read any of his other books yet, but I am familiar with their covers and names. There are some crossover characters from another one of his novels. I won’t spoil who it is, but I like it when authors create a fluid universe that includes other characters from other books. Harmon Cooper does a good job with his Proxima universe.
Jamie does a good job in the note section of his author summary listing the stuff you are in for. If you read that section and still read the book and get your panties in a wad, that is all your fault. Even Soundbooth calls themselves Soundbooth Burlesque. Here this is the first time I have noticed this tag.
Soundbooth is freaking amazing like always. I have yet to listen to an audiobook that they haven’t completely slayed. They make fun stories even better. Jeff Hays carries the majority of the narration, but the other soundbooth folks compliment him very nicely.

Another great addition to the Ex-Heroes universe

If you like Jamie’s Ex Heroes, and Ex Gods series you will find this expansion into that universe well worth the listen. I do not want to offer up any spoilers but I recommend reading this prior to Ex Heroes 6 (not that you have to), but you will really enjoy the cross over elements.

A fun read...

The title may have turned you off... or on... but in case you are wondering, PB is a good book and a fun read (yes, I read it first) so don't let the title throw you off. It has all the elements of a great adventure with all the extras to enjoy. But it has psychobitches so you know it will be a fun read and I needed a break after a heavy trilogy read.

awesome

well, another great Jamie Hawke harem series. what more could a guy ask for; sex, action, and superheroes.
I love the paradigm shift that the MC goes through, always fun when what you thought you knew wasn't the way it truly was
