About this listen

Psycho-cybernetics is a term coined by Dr. Maxwell Maltz that means "steering your mind to a productive, useful goal so you can reach the greatest port in the world: peace of mind".

Dr. Maltz was the first researcher and author to explain how the self-image has complete control over an individual's ability to achieve any goal. In Psycho-Cybernetics: Principles for Creative Living, Dr. Maltz reveals more groundbreaking techniques for improving and managing self-image - visualization, mental rehearsal, relaxation. These principles have informed and inspired countless motivational gurus, sports psychologists, and self-help practitioners for more than 50 years.

The teachings of psycho-cybernetics are timeless because they are based on solid science and provide a prescription for thinking and acting that lead to quantifiable results.

The book was great. This performance is terrible.

They hired some amateur relative of Joe Nuckols to do the female character recording. She is absolutely horrible. Nasal voice with a lisp! Good God! There are plenty of very fine voice actresses looking for work. Mr. Nuckols thought having his wife, sister, or daughter do the job would be okay. It's not. Joe Nuckols does fine work. He shouldn't screw it up with nepotism. I can't get through this trash recording. I won't buy any more Nightingale Conant audiobooks. This was a very great book and I looked forward to listening to the audio version. This is extremely disappointing.
