After indulging in The Veil Awakening by Zita Grant, I've been waiting patiently for this author to release more books to satisfy my need for another nail-biting, action novel. I must say Pray or Be Prey did not disappoint! From the first chapter, I was plunged into the mystery of the paranormal, accompied by suspense that wouldn't allow me to put this book down until I finished reading it. It has been four days since I completed this book and the effect lingers.

Alongside The Veil Awakening, this was hands down the best book I read in 2020.
