PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT

The male narrator's voice is sooo gooood. You can literally hear every emotion the MMC feels when he speaks it. The female narrator too wasn't bad, I just laughed sometimes when she had to mimic some male characters 😂

The story itself isn't slow burn, It's I'm gonna make you itch for it and torture you for it 😫 It was a lil fun at the beginning, I loved their flirtation and going back and forth.. But the last 10 or so chapters made me sit on the edge of my seat! AND DON'T LET ME SPEAK ABOUT THE ENDING UGH! I can't believe I have to wait for April then July for the following parts.

This is my first experience ever on Audiobooks. and it took me over a month to actually give this a proper shot and I'm just glad I did it.. didn't expect to cry my eyes out over a sci-fi tho and I'm not even a fan of the genre, I only started with this cause it was free. Look at me now hooked 😫😫

entriging

The banter between Kai and Payden was so much fun. It's hard to remember its only the beginnig of this wonderful story. Its like being in the scenes it self.

Listening to a book might hurt more than reading.

I thought it would hurt less hearing than reading. but it was the opposite. I knew the ending before I started this book. nope. pain is still pain.

The chapter that struck me the most was 48, how the author managed to put such raw emotion not only in that bit of the book but in almost all of it. The relationships between the characters are delightful and the plot although cliche is fun to read and witness. The fanservice is a bit strong but very well done lol. My only complaint is the flatness of certain characters, such as background villains with little depth or complexity. Overall it is a fun read that can make you laugh, cry, sigh and hold your breath in anticipation, I hope the next books draw a fitting finish to this story.

Some of the best fantasy I’ve read in a long time.

Powerless is a fantasy with amazing world building and a captivating plot but at its heart Powerless is really a the story of a forbidden and imposible romance. Love, hate, politics, betrayal. Powerless has something for everybody.
Safe to say that through all the twists and turns I wasn’t disappointed once. Pick this book up and believe me, you won’t regret it.

The tension was amazing

The book was amazing, but I think I would like it more If I read it in a physical book, not because the audiobook wasn’t good. It’s because I prefer it like that. I had a hard time to connect with Payton when it was Kai chapters, because the male actor did had voice. But the tension was amazing.

The vocals were amazing. I really enjoyed the dynamic between Peadyn and Kai brought to life after reading the book

I enjoyed the voice acting even if the story felt a bit forced in certain places

I don’t know what to feel

I seriously can’t pinpoint on one emotion towards this book I liked kai’s character and kitt’s but I can’t find it in me to overlook their cruelty towards ordinary human and specially towards the woman they both loved. Even before finishing the first book I bought the second, so let us see where it goes. The narrators didn’t put enough effort into their performances.
