Storyline is awesome

Female narrator voice is a bit monotone but the male is great

Cliffhanger but the next books are available and as I’m listening to the books they are available with my membership. I’ve found a new author to follow..

Great Set

These two books have two more follow up books. The narrators are great the story is great. Lots of twists and all the the feels. Can't recommend enough.

I enjoyed this one a lot. It pulled me in from beginning to end and I was very glad that this had 2 of them put together because they definitely leave you hanging and you need the next one immediately. This one starts with a bang pretty quickly with Sketch bullying Romi and trying to get her to tell the truth about his twin, Chris', death. Things are definitely tangled up and there are lots of secrets. Romi, Chris, and Sketch grew up together as their fathers are business partners and they pretty much run the town and next door neighbors. Sketch has always been the black sheep with his family but Romi and Sketch were inseparable. They are/were best friends which then became more, though they kind of had to keep it a secret/on the down low. Then everything went sideways and Sketch broke up with Romi and broke her heart. Then a little while later, Chris asked her out and she said yes. Then something happened and Romi was driving and crashed and Chris was dead. There are too many pieces missing and not adding up for Sketch and he believes something else happened and that it wasn't an accident for Chris' death. Romi has lost so much and has also shut out a lot of details of that night and what actually happened. As Presley, Chris' best friend gets involved and things happen, questions continue to come up and things start coming to a head. There is lots going on and this story was very intriguing and mysterious with all the secrets and how the pieces are going to come together. This story is emotional with everything that happened and that they are going through. And as secrets get revealed, more hurts are as well and others are uncovered to be dealt with. I can't wait for the next one and to see what secrets are being revealed next and how it all comes together as well as the connection between Romi and Sketch healing.
The narrators did a fantastic job with the characters and the action and really bringing it to life! Great southern accents but still easy to understand.

The suspense is killing me!!!

Just finished pocketful of blame and shame on audible, and wow!
I hate that the next two books are not on audible especially when there is a cliffhanger like this! Please audible, authors etc don’t release anymore series with these type cliffhangers u less the following books are available!!! I have so many series hanging like this and unfortunately many I haven’t finished only because I’ve forgotten about them. Not because they weren’t good, but because I end of finding other series similar in genre while waiting and waiting and waiting...!

Pleasantly Surprised

I went into the with a “meh” feeling. I hadn’t heard the female narrator before and I didn’t think I’d really like the storyline, but it was great! Great story and awesome narration. Can’t wait to start the next books in the series.

Disappointed

and just like that cliff hanger.at least tell people when or how long. That's a sorry way to end a book. I guess by the time they end this story I will have forgotten what it was all about. To say I'm disappointed is putting it mildly.

So good. I’m so into this story. Yes, it ends on a cliffhanger…but I gotta know!!!! Starting the next book now. Can’t wait!

Ending sucked

Good story but the ending sucked, it is like there is supposed to be another book, but nothing.
