Pitiful Lies

This is a well-narrated story with 2 narrators that make it easy to understand who is speaking.
This Book 3 in The Jersey Bad Boys Book Series has a Intriguing Romance Story, a well-constructed/interconnected world and intense characters. These characters have unique personalities, realistic interactions and complicated histories. Ci-Ci, Giselle Vega, is on a rampage to protect her best friend Anna, and accidentally pours a beer over the wrong man. Ci-Ci comes over to the Vipers Nest to surprise him one night and gets a surprise herself, a Woman sitting on his lap, so she bolts. Angel Fury is intrigued and instantly attracted to her and is in the dark when she bolts without a word. He finds out where she went and keeps someone there to watch over her, but when 2 months pass without her coming back he decides it is time for her to come home. This Story has action, twists, turns, danger, secrets, surprises, betrayal, kidnapping, new friendships, growing attraction, love and a HEA. A must read story and series.

Angel & Giselle

Read this book but oh my goodness to hear the book come to life is hilarious, action-packed and sizzling. The narrators do a fantastic job.

We have met Angel and Giselle in the previous books in this series.
Giselle is one tough cookie, but underneath all that she may be just what Angel really wants.

Angel knows he can have his pick of women he is a viper, an Enforcer. He is tall, dark, and handsome to many women.
But he doesn't want some Barbie doll… oh no not this man he wants her. His Koukla.
But now he has to go and bring her back…

She thought there was more until she walked into the Den and saw something that had her leaving her best friend, as fast as she could…
Giselle has a lot to work out, she doesn't have great self-esteem now either after what she witnessed.

Will Angel get his Giselle before the other big bad wolves can?

We get tons of action, and many surprises I have enjoyed this entire series but by far this was my favorite. Who am I kidding I love them all!

Jersey boy in love

In the final book of this fabulous series, we continue with the story of Giselle and Angel. These two are perfect together. They both want each other but are unsure of their relationship status. Can they make it work? There is a lot of action, suspense, drama, angst and finally love. There are some wonderful cameos from another series. The narration by Elle Sonali and Mick Fanning was perfect. Elle Sonali was absolutely brilliant as Giselle(Ci-Ci). She voiced all of Giselle’s emotions perfectly. Her voice was sweet, sultry and/or hesitant as needed. Mick Fanning was fabulous as Angel. He had a wonderful alpha and commanding voice as well as a softer sweeter one for Giselle. These two fabulous voice actors brought this story to life. I highly recommend listening.

Wow! Just , Wow! Angel and Giselle story, I think is my favorite in this series and I've read and loved them all. I love that the characters from Wild Billionaire's series made an appearance. I'm amazed how C.D. Gorri builds up on each of her books and series. You never know who will pop in from a pervious book. It makes these stories more realistic. Ms. Gorri makes each character feel like a real person, not a fictional character with the way feel writes them. You know what they're thinking, you feel their emotions, they're joys and pain.
Angel Fury is morally gray hero with a "touch my woman and die" attitude. But, it's not just an attitude, he follows through. He does his best to win Giselle after he realizes he never took out on a date of any kind. Giselle is snarky, stubborn, and smart as a whip, but so much into her thought, she gets in her own way. She thinks Angel is only wanting her for sex. She confused and over thinking when Angel starts to woo her. The chemistry between these two are off the charts and steamy. This is just an all around good book. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves a good love story with a little mafia mayhem.
Audiobook:
Elle Sonali and Mick Fanning narrates the audiobook. And let me tell you, it's fantastic. Just listening to this book gave me goose bumps. I love the light and sweet voice of Ms. Sonali as she reads Giselle's POV. Mr. Fanning's deep voice fits Angel's POV perfectly

Badass Men, Strong Women, Pure Fire

This is the third and, I believe, final book in the series—and what a ride it’s been! Every book was highly entertaining, delivering exactly what I crave in a mafia romance: ruthless, powerful men who will burn the world down for the women they love. No hesitation, no mercy—just pure devotion and deadly protection. Luc, Nico, and Angel’s stories made for an addictive, must-listen series.

The narration was spot-on, Jersey accent and all. I especially loved Elle Sonali’s voice—she absolutely nailed both the male and female characters. A five-star experience across the board for all three books!
