Great story…female narrator, not so much

I loved the story but the female narrator made me almost stop listening and not finish the book. Her voice is extremely slow and robotic. I had to speed it up to 1.9x so it would be at a normal pace but it still drove me crazy with the robotic-like pauses. Otherwise a good read!

FMC isn’t it

I don’t like to write unkind reviews but, I hope that the authors narrators get better after this book… The FMC reads in a achingly slow speed. I guarantee a 10 minute chapter could’ve been read in 5. The overly long annunciation of words, and we’re not talking random words here and there, we’re talking several words within almost every sentence made me so irritated, I had to speed up her chapters. Thank goodness for that feature or I would have probably not listened. The story line was good. Not my fav but it was decent.

Horrible female narrator

The story was decent, HEA, but the slow unnatural pauses in narration was almost unbearable. I actually pulled the book and read for myself halfway through Audible. Hopefully this narrator has improved on her skills, but it really brought performance to a low. With that said male narrator was excellent.

Loved this listen

First book by this author- loved the story and characters. Narration was excellent- again first listen from these narrators - loved both. Can’t wait for next book in this series.

Amazing!

Wasn't sure what to expect. Absolutely Love this book! Didn't want to put it down! I laughed out loud and I sobbed too. Highly Recommend! The audio was on point!

Christopher Walken female narrator!

The story was great, male narrator was great but the female narrator was awful!! The pauses were so frustrating! She really did sound like Christopher Walken! Ugh!

Amazing

I love the storyline, and the characters. The best part about it was the family history, and everybody being on the same page.

The facts/storyline don’t add up

Ok book. But had a hard time with the attack/kidnapping… nothing comes of it for weeks. Just didn’t add up and was too unbelievable for me.?

Awesome story

Could not put it down! Romance and comedy. I both laughed and cried! Held my interest, could not put it down!!!
