Trigger warning: This story has lived inside me for at least two decades. I want you to hear my voice as you listen to this book and experience my emotions. I wanted to write a 20-chapter novel that provided you with instant details chapter after chapter. Then, coronavirus hit, and as a single mother, it seemed impossible every day trying to birth a book. Nonetheless, I decided to write this book, piece by piece, chapter by chapter, self-publish, and get it out to the people.
I am motivated by our shared ancestor Nipsey Hustle to launch a proud-to-pay campaign. Therefore, you might've got this book directly from my website (for free) or a paid platform . Nonetheless, my voice, writing skill, and talent will reach you. Please support me!
This fictional piece will present life-like events and is in no way meant to reflect actual events. It's all made up. I love a good listen. I love a good drama, especially if it's not my drama. I'm just saying, lose yourself in this piece and enjoy! So, let's get to it. Thanks again for taking the time to listen yo this piece of work.
When survival is the only option, our only option is to survive. Growing up in the household of an abusive father, a dismissive mother, and traumatized siblings, Charm discovered God, spiritual magick, prayer, and resilience. Charm decided to live in two worlds, the one she creates and the one she is born into. She learned early on in life that traumatized people traumatize people. Charm lived by faith and survived by strategy.
Often, my sister and I would decide that we want to write a book. We wanted to tell a compelling story. Well, here is that story...or at least part of it.
