I really appreciate Aida’s story it gives a voice and creates a mirror to see myself within her memoir.

There are parts of the books I can tell she was choked up and the pain was felt with her vibration of her tone. It made me cry, laugh, and evoke buried emotions.

love her and her story but the delivery is monotone

i love her and her work. the book is interesting but she reads it in such a monotone way she seems bored.

I was not expecting to cry this much.

What a beautiful story so relatable. I didn’t think I would be so moved listening to this story, I found myself at my desk in tears on more than one occasion. Thank you for sharing your story you’re truly an inspiration.

Such a compelling story but….

I absolutely love Aida. Her comedy so hilarious and smart. I enjoyed the book but I found the delivery robotic and lacking emotion. It is definitely worth listening to but just be aware that the delivery is somewhat lacking.

Comedy is built from tragedy. Aida's quest to become a legitimate kid was touching, honest and beautifully written.

I truly enjoyed the entire book. Finally meeting her father and siblings in the DR. The Strengths and Love of her Grandmother ❤️. Her Loving, caring and protective uncles.

I'd give you 10 stars but there's onky 5 available.

I felt like Aida was talking to me about my own struggles. Loved the Book. I laughed and I cried because I could relate to her story. Congratulations Aida!

What an amazing story! Enjoyed every minute of it and went through this in 3 days. My only gripe is I wish Aida had told the story with the same spicy, and fun personality as she does her comedy. It felt like she was just reading it, which in some points came off a bit robotic.
