Great read, I loved this book!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Owned to be better than the print version?

I read and listen at the same time. There is such tremendously elevated level of dimension added by having the audio that I cannot imagine and seldom read any book without listening to it. So I am a HUGE advocate of adding more books to Audible.com.

What other book might you compare Owned to and why?

All the books in this "Highest Bidder" series are comparable and I love them all. Each has a unique twist in one way or another that brings a different flavor to it.

Which character – as performed by Douglas Berger and Brooke Hayden – was your favorite?

Joseph was my favorite character; a completely unique individual who ends up in a loving relationship, despite having survived horrendously grotesque life events early on.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Why would anyone go the movies when they can stay home with audio books???

must read

I started this series just a few days ago and I can't stop. Each book is a stand alone but you do get introduced to additional characters in each book. Joseph and Lilly stole my heart and I hope they will be brought back in future books just so I can see how they are doing.

Awesome Listen!!!

This book was so good! This is a standalone listen, yet part of a series. The link to this series is Club X and mention of a certain few characters. Each book spotlights a different set of couples and their story. I love that each book has a happy ending and does not end in a cliffhanger. This book (and series) opened my eyes to various aspects to bdsm. Trust is huge. Lauren Landish and Willow Winters write seamlessly together. They are very talented. The narrators (Douglas Berger and Brooke Hayden) did a great job with this duel narration. I loved getting into the minds of Lilly and Joseph. The narration adds so much more than just reading the book (which I previously did) can deliver on the feelings and emotions, and excitement. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator, and/or publisher. Highly recommend this book.

He took the fall to escape his fate as the eldest son of a mafia kingpin. Now, just as he discovered happiness with his sweet virgin, Lilly, they've come back for him and she is caught in the middle of a terrifying situation.

Now Joseph must find a way to protect his sweet little Lilly. She is perhaps the only person who sees the light inside his dark soul and without her, he will never find his way out of the darkness.

The story is crafted with a passionate heat that burns between the two main characters. It has intensity and intrigue that will leave you sitting on the edge of your seat wondering how it will turn out.

The narration is stellar and just as addicting as the writing is. I enjoyed this book and recommend listening to it, but be sure to save it until you have time to really kick back because once you begin this story you won't want to stop until you are completely finished with the book.

Great audible book and story
