Another wonderful book from Mahle and Madison

I am a huge fan of these authors so when I saw they had contributed to this series I really wanted to jump in. Ember's story was really good, with the right amount of angst and longing and then, of course, conclusion.

If you haven't already, I highly recommend both this entire series where so many wonderful authors contributed, as well as anything Madison and Mahle have written on their own.

Phenomenal!!

I did not want this book to end!!
But I couldn't help it....the tension / the push-pull / love-hate between these two!! Holy moly!!! And I loved every minute of it!! There were so many things I loved about this story. Fae, loosely mixed with Greek mythology, enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, dark, fated mates, one bed, strong bad a$$ FMC, and a completely 🔥🔥 morally gray, shadow daddy MMC....... Um, yes, please 🙋‍♀️
Highly, highly recommend!!
Olivia King knocked it out of the park, the narration is phenomenal!!

narrator is one of my favorites and story line was the best of this collection.

Outstanding read! It grabbed me right from the start, held on and didn't let go. Amazingly told with a cast of awesome characters and banter. Looking forward to more books by this duo.

Good story along w another

Liked all of the 8 sacrifices for each kingdoms and some are always like wtf at the beginning but knowing the woman always save the kingdoms

Great stand alone, different from their other stories

Having read everything these two talented writers have published, I was excited for this one as well! When I saw Olivia King was narrating, honestly I was a bit perturbed as I couldn’t imagine how they could keep using the same voice for their stories and now in a totally different world. But I was totally wrong to worry! She was fabulous and I love the story even more after listening to her narration. Still a fan! Looking forward to more from them and just downloaded the first book in the Forgotten Kingdoms series. All standalone by different authors!

Packed With Emotion; Wonderful Storyline

Narration in this book is filled with emotion in all the right places. I laughed. I cried. And everything in between.

The book is so well written with a plot that draws you in. I love the characters and witnessing their struggles in this second chance romance.

LOVED

This has been on my TBR for a while since I have loved everything else from these authors. I am so glad I was finally able to listen to it because WOW! The story and world building sucks you in immediately and I loved that it had more spice than their other series. Olivia King does a seamless job going from voicing Ember to Hadeon which just makes the listening experience even better! 100% recommend!

Love it!

This combination of authors and narrator will forever be my favorite. Olivia only makes a story better and this one was great to start (I read the book but had to listen to it too). I love most of her male voices than I do the actual male narrators. So far I think this narrator could do no wrong!

Love the book, not so much the narrator tho

This book is amazing so far! I most stopped listening to it tho because of how monotone the narrator is. She ends each sentence on the same note, and it literally is like she’s just reading something to us instead of “reading with emotion.” Her monotone voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me. When she voices the kings part, it’s good, but WAY too quiet compared to her monotone shouting. If you have adhd, this may not be for you. Sad because the book is amazing so far!
