About this listen

Being without her isn't an option for me. Or her.

The Protector

She's in danger.

Just the thought of this threatens my sanity.

I'll do anything to keep her safe… Even things that she doesn't agree with.

If she thinks stalking her is bad, Calista's in for a surprise.

The Prisoner

Hayden is certifiable. And I love him.

What I don't like are his methods of protection.

Except the more perilous things become, the closer I get to him. And the secrets he's keeping from me.

Now You're Mine is book two in the Possessing Her duet, where Hayden and Calista find their HEA. Eventually...

Intended for mature listeners.

Happy for a HEA

Narration was off with this book. Some of the storyline just grated on my nerves. The FMC seemed more naive in this book than the first.

I love this story of Haden and Cali

I love this story of Haden and Cali . There were twists that I loved and just like book one of this duet it has an excellent plot. Jaden did any and everything to keep her safe! Happy reading!

The Love that's unbreakable

it's a dark romance that shows that when you are truly in love it can take you over and you can look past everything else

Meh, regrettable purchase and time wasted on a flat, doormat of a female lead.

The two books are really just one. For all that is drawn out, not a lot happens. The end of the two book series is anticlimactic, as it is heavily foreshadowed. It is left with loose ends and the absolute doormat of a female character doesn’t even pursue her hunches…like the birth control issue. It’s a “happy ending” only in the way that she gives up and in…who wants to read about a doormat? I regret the purchase, even on sale.

Good

Better spice than the first book. I’m not sure if it was really worth the $20. Since I didn’t want to wait till next month for another book credit. But I definitely like the series. She still didn’t find out why she got pregnant so maybe there’s a third book in the works?

he takes everything from her, so she is fully dependent on him. He traps her, like Ballerina Farm this must be how they met

Story was lacking

There was so much potential in the beginning of this series but as it went on, it just became lies, accepting lies, and spice. The story just fell really flat on this one.

This is Stockholm syndrome - not romance

Contains spoilers: I am a HUGE fan of dark romance and stalker romances. This one was neither, and was just Stockholm syndrome at its finest.

I read the second audiobook of the series with the hope of finding some kind of redeeming quality in the MMC. Unfortunately, I found none. The FMC spends entire series trying to get away from her stalker, and essentially just gives up. He lies to her constantly, threatens her, and manipulates her at every turn…even so far as sabotaging her birth control so he can control her that way too. And when she finds out he killed her father she’s just…okay with it??

He even threatens her when he proposes. Just…ew.

I hope anyone with a relationship similar to this is able to seek help and escape.
