More than four decades ago, the groundbreaking book Titters: The First Collection of Humor by Women showcased the work of some of the leading female comedians of the 1970s like Gilda Radner, Candice Bergen, and Phyllis Diller. The book became an essential time capsule of an era, the first of its kind, that opened doors for many more funny women to smash the comedy glass-ceiling.

Today, brilliant women continue to push the boundaries of just how funny - and edgy - they can be in a field that has long been dominated by men. In Notes from the Bathroom Line, Amy Solomon brings together all-new material from some of the funniest women in show business today - award-winning writers, stand-up comedians, actresses, cartoonists, and more.

I did LOL at a number of pieces! Glad to be introduced to comedians I wasn’t aware of before. One frustration: the chapter listings in the audio book do not list the author. I tried to find the content listings on lone, at the book’s website, couldn’t find it. Did find a list of the contributors w head shots, and a short link. That is helpful.

I'm in my early 70s and NOTHING was a bit funny to me. Some was slightly amusing but most of it I couldn't relate to at all.

Wrong generation

Not that clever or funny. Not laugh out loud funny. Merely odd observations about life from female view. Usually love that but not here.

Weak humor

I ABSOLUTELY COULD NOT FINISH THE SELECTION. Glad that it was a part of the 2 for 1 special because it really isn't even worth half the credit that I gave for it.
I am not a prude and I enjoy some earthy, even raunchy humor. However the content of this audio book focuses on womens' anatomy and as well as some of the challenges facing women in a very crude and insulting way. I found nothing funny about the content and the delivery was just so so.

Very, very disappointing!

Vulgar and not Even Remotely Funny1
