suspensful

I enjoyed the pot twists. I think it could of used more about there powers and abilities.

loved it. can't wait for another.

I enjoyed this series so very much. Can't wait to hear more. Storyline and narration great.

Acting

The story could use a little refining with character building and the appearance of holes beneficial to the main characters. However, it’s a great story for the urban fantasy lovers and keeps you wanting more, by the time I reached the 2nd chapter in book 2, I purchased all of the remaining books

Please 🛑 stop!!!!

LJ Swallow please stop using the British lady narrator that sounds like she’s depressed and on the verge of tears the WHOLE TIME SHE TALKS. This storyline is good and it has promise but most rh readers like grown up content we’re thirsty folks who like the 🍆 🤣 this is more of a kiddie book.

Was hesitant at first S I didn’t expect the accents, but it was amazing! Can’t wait to listen to the next one!

Most amazing series

This has been the most amazing book I’ve read in a really long time. I couldn’t even put it down!!!!!! It needs to become a tv series !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Boring

I kept listening, thinking this HAS to pick up soon, right? Well, 3 books in and I think it may finally just be at the beginning of something interesting happening, but I don't think I want to waste the money for the next book to find out. The narrator was great though.

Interesting Story

This series is really interesting. I liked world the author has created. The story's engaging and intriguing, It definitely got a bunch of fascinating characters. Although, there were a number of times I rolled my eyes over the female MC's thoughts and actions.

Sarah Colton and Steve Campbell were amazing in this series. It was so easy to get lost in the story with them narrating it.

Not bad

The writing isn’t terrible and I thankfully haven’t gotten too frustrated with the fmc. The story has potential, but the pacing is very slow imo and I don’t think I would have come close to finishing this series if I hadn’t bought the omnibus. Within the span of three books hardly anything really seems to progress - so much so that it feels like I’m still in the first chapters of the series most of the time even while listening to the third book in the series.

Meh.

The writing is good and the narration is great too. Generally, that is all you need for a good audio book. However, the subplots of are what dominate most of the story and the lengthy inner monologues can be a snooze. I found myself skipping entire chapters when there were character changes because most of what was revealed was useless. It has a lot of filler and a very thin main plot.
