Superb

As Jae pulls you into the story with excellent character development she finely weaves a fascinating story together with several subplots. Each person is easily identified by the outstanding narration making the story an easy listen.
Jae’s ability to make the most complex personalities understandable to we mortals not trained in the psychological matters of the mind is a pure delight.
There was only one out of many storylines I knew “who done it” before the perp was identified. That takes talent and Jae’s was on full display.
Well done Jae, well done!

I love Cadence character and Del's patience. shading light on the effects of coming out to parents of the older generation. Def recommend listening to

The Cast Of Characters and Writing Were Very Good!

I enjoyed the storyline but was more interested in the love interest with Dell and Kade. Cast of characters was believable but the stalker situation could have been more surprising. I would have loved a third book (?) focusing on the evolution of Kade and Dells relationship dilemmas and the prim mother in law. Narration as always, was fantastic with Dawe.

Great series!!

Really enjoyed the continued story of Aiden and Dawn and also Del and Kade. All of these characters along with the supporting characters were very believable and relatable. Jae managed to keep the flow and interest from one book to the next. I also enjoyed the mix of the crime based and romance series. Also great work by Abby Craden she’s a great narrator. I have always enjoyed books that she brings to life.

Great story!

This is an excellent 2.5 part series. Not your typical lesfic, it’s got a real story, a mystery, courtroom and police drama, and a beautiful unfolding of romantic and family relationships. I really enjoyed it.

i need book 3. the content of this book is awesome. it didn't disappoint. i need to know what will happen to all of them.

Family is often chosen, always a work of love.

I loved this story full of intrigue, growing emotions and coming into oneself. The characters dealt with life issues as they grew to understand themselves and love each other. It tackles the difficult topic of unconditional on so many levels. So artfully written, I loved this 2nd book and seeing characters develop. I love Abby Craden brought the characters to life in this magnificent audible listen.

Love these characters

I'm a new fan of Jae, and an old fan of Abby Craden! The other characters from Conflict of Interest get more attention in Next of Kin. Plus a bonus: the last 6 chapters are the novella that was written by Jae, focusing more on Cade and her mother, Sophie.
Highly recommend! Abby Craden is the best!

With a dramatic storyline of fun , ironclad friendship and a next of kin that I didn't see coming.... I loved it!
