Lots of Secrets, Deceit & Danger!

When LA detective Jim Lloyd reluctantly returns to his NJ hometown for a final funeral. Lloyds professional skill set reaches from coast to coast as he is asked to consult on a murder investigation. Throughout the book He is bombarded with reminders of his past in the town and why he left. This story is full of secrets, deceit, and danger all of which is compacted into a less than 4 hour listen. Needless to say, the author did a great job cutting the fat to make this a quick and fun read.

The narrator Robert Ferraro did an exceptional job, being a perfect match for the tone of this book. The fact that he is an award-winning performer is evident from the first chapter to the last.

Editing, quality, and production were on par with most books I have listened to. It was clear, no issue with sound or quality.
