Critic reviews

"Designed specifically to focus on the interests and needs of commuters, the new Freeway Guides series of audiobooks features dynamic, entertaining instructions by established leaders in their fields supported by high production values. The company was cofounded in 2006 by motivational speaker/trainer Susan Leahy and film director/producer Jared Patrick as a result of their frustration at wasting time during their daily commute on the Southern California freeways....The mixed-media production includes the main instructor's presentation, supported by a variety of additional character voices and a wide range of catchy music and sound effects. The result is akin to the early days of radio plays, and the 80-minute length for each program is just about right for most listeners as they trek to and from their offices. All Freeway Guides programs are originally produced for the audio format." ( Library Journal)
"The perky author, talking rapidly, compensates for her high-pitched voice with her energy, creative ideas, and desire to be helpful." ( AudioFile)

Very useful

Excellent little summary of how to prepare and build your confidence for one of those most gruelling experiences - the job interview. I loved her model and concept of using your 'voice' (more than just your vocal cords) and clearly expressing key messages. I used this one to successfully interview for my new job! She is a professional trainer and ensures her voice is dynanic (perhaps a little too much at times) throughout.

Lovely overview 👏

This is a brief and valuable resource for those looking for advice on interviewing. Given it's short length it covers a lot with little extra detail or examples. Highly recommend as a refresher or as a 101 book on interviewing.

Really good

Most books like this are fairly repetitive but this breathes new air onto the subject and overall, the writer and narrator present the material in a way that makes this title very easy to understand and follow.
