Good engaging narration from Edoardo Ballerini. Fantastic explanation on what mindfulness is all about. I would say a must listen/read for anyone to understand mindfulness.

I finished this book in 3 days. But it is a book you will want to and probably need to read again.

This is a fantastic book for beginners looking to start meditation - my favorite part about the book is the narrator Eduardo Ballerini. He has such a calming voice. I’ve heard this book about 6 times, you have to keep listening to get it completely.

Aside from a very off putting and weird claim about meditation and psychic powers in the beginning this book has been a great manual for starting out in mindfulness meditation.

Where do I start, inherently I’m not much of a meditator and when ever I do try I tend to fall off. That being said, this book opened my eyes to a new form of meditation that I was not familiar with. The performance was phenomenal, and the book had excellent insights. Highly recommended for those who wish to start practicing meditation within the Vipasana tradition.

I have wanted to try mindfulness meditation for a long time but usually feel like a failure after 5 minutes due to my thoughts careening off everywhere, so I forced myself to get the Audible version of this book. The reader is appropriate for the subject matter and this book seems to cover how to deal with all the challenges and excuses one can come up with -- thus giving me the incentive to try again and not feel like I can't do it. A really wonderful and thorough book on mindfulness and meditation. Very well written and full of too the point advice. The narrator was exceptional as well. I'll return to this book many times I think.
