After a hundred years of regrets, revenge is just around the corner. We have finally reunited with Kristan, Marko, Franja, and Renata, who proved to be instrumental in our battle against Harkel's Hellhounds and the siege on Arrdeam. Having brought down the first leg of Harkel's slaving empire, we're getting ever closer to cutting off the head of the snake. Before we can face him, though, we must still grow stronger, but assassins lurk in the shadows and dangerous foes want us dead.

There's only one good thing about the whole mess we keep finding ourselves in: the giant, near indestructible mimic by our side. Chester can turn into anything he absorbs, from a giant carriage to a huge pile of garbage that can even kill monstrous dungeon bosses. And by the end of our quest, maybe he'll have a few more new transformations too.

Forced and rushed

I thought this would be the last book because of how they rush to tie everything up. Then the last chapter they set up another book. Disappointed

Great story. Keeps getting better with ever book!!!!!!!!!!!! The performance was awesome as well. Keep up the good work!!!!!

Great addition to the series

I love the progression, and was excited to know there is alot more to come.

Good book

This book is good but I don’t think it is funny as the earlier ones.

Another great mimic and me

This is a great continuation to the story, and expands on the lore of the mimic and me universe quite a bit. We get a conclusion to a major plot line and an expansion of others.

outstanding preference and story

this story was very original, and stayed funny well being intense at the same time, and it had great oneliners!

Chester's crew

another epic adventure.
I did find Chester and Damon's banter to be a bit much at times but otherwise a fun story can't wait for the next one and as always sound both theater did an amazing job Love all the different voices

Very good pacing. And Soundbooth Theatre is a master as usual.

The voices are just amazing. Very easily distinguishable from each other. Jeff is just amazing as the mimic. Is he starting to be typecast as a mimic? 😝

Cannot wait for the next book

I loved all three books. I would totally listen to them again. They were funny and they were heartwarming. This series was very well written and preformed. Chester's voice was very shrill, and that is the only bad thing I can say about it. after getting used to the voice, it really added to the depth of the story. he's just this excitable, little monster learning how to be himself. When he shrieked about bathtubs and cake, I could not help but laugh until I cried. 10/10 I know I'll listen to these books again especially when i'm feeling down, they will make me smile.

Excellent performances

There's not a lot of tension in the combat anymore due to power creep with the main cast, but the main cast is also fun and they're written consistently. Jeff Hays must be having an absolute ball with how he plays Chester.
