Never a bad Beck tale!
I’ve never been a fan of short stories. I feel the build up of a world shouldn’t be blown away with the shift of the wind. Novels have always been my way, but Beck is my favorite author. His tales build worlds that make you cringe and run- from the book! These shorts did the same thing. A few made you smile, others created surprise and shock. All of them amazing and well worth the listen, read and physical book.

least favorite
felt lacking, love the authors other work. This just felt lazy and underwhelming. stories are too short and lack character connection
