Yes!!!!!!!! Stargate vibes

It’s a great story!!! I felt it had Stargate energy just with a new monster of the week situation. How the
Main character ended up becoming the leader of the group and giving him a purpose after his wife’s death is kinda weird. I would’ve like it more if he joined the group to serve as a second in command or led his own team investigating mysterious events.

I love giant monster stories and this book got it! Giant hornets! Oh no! Wait! There are also giant wasps!!!!!!!!!! How will humanity survive!!!! Oh no!!
This book was published in 2023. I hope they start releasing these like 2-3xs a year or once a year

It's good

Is a good premises and story. Just isn't fleshed out and feels a tad rushed.

Fast ride

Performance was excellent and the story keeps you intrigued, can’t wait for the next one. Mr Cole has a green thumb when it comes to creatures

Just couldn't get past the writing

I really wanted to like this story, but it came across as just a collection of cliches. Sadly, it was too much for me.

Pretty good

I like the Giant wasp scenario, but I wish the characters and been more interesting and fleshed out. There was a lot of action and the story went quickly.
