About this listen

Planning a wedding is stressful enough, and that’s without a harem of gorgeous men to deal with.

Mia Harrington has had a difficult time of it lately - her father’s illness and subsequent death, then her finding out she must get married if she is to inherit what’s rightfully hers. Fortunately, she’s tough and resourceful and has emerged relatively unscathed from this period, as well as having found herself a suitable husband.

However, things are far from simple. Mia might be planning to marry investment banker Elias Pym, but she’s also having a relationship with his best friend, Doctor Alex Cartwright, and is in love with her gardener, Thomas Walker. Add to that broken dates, flashy proposals, a sexy Asian tech billionaire, and a nosy housekeeper, and you’ve got a situation hectic enough to drive even the most capable person to distraction.

Can Mia juggle her men, her job, and the wedding arrangements, or is her happily ever after over before it has even begun?

Mia's Wedding is the second audiobook in The Heiress's Harem contemporary reverse harem romance series.

Great read

Mia’s Wedding was another good read by Lucy Felthouse. Mia is in love with multiple men but must marry one in order to inherit what is rightfully hers from her father. Mia is planning her wedding to Elias while also having a relationship with Alex and Thomas. She also has caught the eye of an Asian tech billionaire. I have enjoyed reading Mia’s story and can’t wait to read the rest.

Enjoyable second book

Mia continues to form her relationships within her harem and building more. I wish the books flow was a little more fluid. Despite that I really enjoyed this continuation. I’m claiming Thomas;) She must figure out what she wants and needs in order to make these relationships work. Can Mia do it and keep her inheritance. I have really enjoyed the narration by Poppy and feel like she does a wonderful job giving the characters life.

GREAT SERIES!

I am loving this series! This book is full of steamy romance! The narration was superb and gave that extra flair to the story. It will keep you entertained. This author did a great job with the characters and plot. I read the first book Mia's Men and it was excellent. I am really looking forward to reading the next book in this series (can't wait)! Mia's relationships are growing stronger.

This is a good addition to the story of Mia and the men she loves or is coming to love. I definitely get the feeling Thomas is still her favorite, but her fondness for the others is growing as well. I love them all and think Mia is very lucky to have such great people to call her own. Mia's Christmas gift from Thomas is heartwarming, and her date with Elias is sweet. Mia annoys me during the date with her bossiness toward Elias. I think she's too hard on him, when he's only trying to make her happy. Other than that, the story is enjoyable and interesting.
The narrator does a good job of giving the characters distinct voices. I like listening to her.

Getting Married

This one picks up right where the first one left off. I think that we really get to know all of the men better in this one and we finally get to see them interact with each other. Surprisingly, not a whole lot of time is spent on the actual wedding despite the title. I enjoyed Mia's Men, but I actually think the story gets better in this one. It flew by and was over before I knew it and ends in such a way that it wraps up this one but leaves us with a semi cliffhanger and excited for the next one. We also get to see the wedding, even though it was like 20 minutes of the whole book.

I enjoyed this narrator's performance and I feel like she differentiates all of the men's voices well. I actually think this performance was a little better than in the first book. Great Narration!

2nd in the series

I really enjoyed the first in this series and was excited to listen to the second and am equally excited for the next in the series. The story picked up right where the first one left off and you leap right into the story. The narration was great but I felt the story was lacking. It didn't keep me hooked like the first story. I still enjoyed it just not as much as the first.

Need more steam

Their is only one or two steamy scenes in this book. We spend more time establishing the relationships and everyone agreeing with the others in the harem. I like the guys but am not as crazy about Mia in this story. I am still rooting for a HEA which is how book 2 ends. I wanted more time in the relationship with the guys instead of just discussing. So I am onto book 3 hoping to get more steam!

A great continuation of the series........

Mia's Wedding is the second book in this series, and you will have a much better listening experience if you listen to the first book before starting this one. When we left book one, Mia's life was still incredibly uncertain. She was dating 3 men with a potential for a fourth, and she needed to get married soon to inherit her father's estate. In Mia's Wedding, she not only makes plans to set in place her life goal of running the estate, but she develops her relationships with all four men and grows to love each in different ways. It was fascinating to watch how she juggled the sheer challenge of spending time with and meeting the needs of four men while keeping the relationships a secret from society. In this book, she learned what she wanted for herself and her four lovers and very cleverly figured out how to make it happen.

The narrator, Poppy Jay Fox, did another stellar job of narration. Her British accent is beautiful, and she clearly portrayed each of the main characters with a distinct personality through her narration. She is the perfect choice for Mia and her men and their journey to happily ever after.
