What another great story...I’ll be honest, coming off the heels of Adenrele Ojo it’s difficult to get into Mari’s voice in the same way; however, once I adjust her speed it balances out some. Beyond that, I’m just so super into these stories. They’re a perfect addition to the genre; fantastical, yet down to earth in a way where you can still see yourself being potentially swept away like this. I love Alexandria’s work; keep doing your thing sis!

so I really liked this book

okay I love anything Alexandria House puts out, I was skeptical about continuing this series not because of the story but because of the female narrator when I listened to the first book I was like no no no. this book Mari was more in however there wee still parts that got me. one being I wanted to here Jakobi diem voice more I wished they would have let hom read the poem parts during her time. I loved the story line I will be listening to the next good job AH.

What I really love about Alexandria’s book is how intertwined they are.
On another note… Ummm not enough Jakobi for my liking all of the poetry should’ve been read by him!!!

Love has it's ups and downs... What's important is that you find your way back to each other and boy oh boy... They found love.

It’s the epitome of when you know you know. I’ve been that woman who’s afraid to give a guy a chance. I’ve also been that woman who is stupid and I mean stupid for the wrong man. Very relatable and it gives me hope to one day fine the one who I am made to love.

This book has really inspired me to write books it's like the only thing other than God, my 3 children and writing is all I have. Phenomenal!!!

I read the ebook a while back but still turned around and purchased it on Audible which should tell you how good it was! The narrators were phenomenal and their voices made me fall even deeper in love with these characters! Every woman deserves a Niles Adams! Whew chile!!!

Loved this story!

Loved Trevia and Nyles! Their story was great and I loved their HEA! Also love how Mz House writes such great female friendships - Trevia, Greer, and Denise are ride-or-die for each other which is amazing and so fun to read! Narrators Mari and Jakobi Diem did a wonderful job bringing the story to life!

Jakobi, I just love love love your voice!!

I enjoyed the story. But, please no more Mari. I wasn’t convinced by her. She had way too many chapters to herself. It takes away from the story. I had to replay every chapter that she did several times. Mari’s voice is very mature and sounds like she should be doing 50 and older storylines.

Now I love Alexandria House books, the stories are great. Jakobi for the win!! He makes sex sound so amazing and believable.

I am gonna listen to the last book in this series, but my struggle is still Mari.
