Nice young love story

Although the plot was s bit predictable, this was s good and enjoyable listen.

If you are an A. Warren fan, you’ll love this friends-to-lovers story. Her usual tension between the heroine and hero, prove to be fun for the listener as we wait for the eventual heat that is signature in her style.

Morae Brehon and Leon Nixon do a solid job with the narration, fun listen!

Great Romance

This story was a beautiful romance story. I truly enjoyed it. Great romance story. Having f*cked buddies never work. Someone will catch feelings. Lucky for London and Chance they both caught feelings. Problem: Chance is London’s big brother Eric’s best friend. Having a protective brother that served as a father figure, created a very tense situation. Will Eric learn to accept their relationship?

Very enjoyable

London and Chance’s story is not only hot but sweet. To see how London was finally able to let her guard down to a good man was great! Excited to listen to the next book.

Loved It!!!!

I enjoyed listening as much as reading this book. However it took some getting used to Leon's voice.... not at all how imagined Chance sounding🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤣 Thank you Alexandria for a great story!!! Looking forward for book 2💗🎧📚🥰

I like how the writer put this story together and kept the sexual context to the imagination of their readers. This is definitely a go to book for my relax days

Great story

Enjoyed hearing this story, cute and endearing. The only thing I didn’t care for was the voice of Chance.

Lets Play A Little Game!!!

I actually started listening to The Games We Play three months ago but, I stopped because I couldn't get into it. Interesting enough, I found it to be more entertaining the second time around. London was too immature for my taste. She liked to play games too much. Hence the title of hte book. This is why I don't like to read books with characters in their 20's. At the age I am, I can't relate to them. While I could barely tolerate London, I loved her and Chance as a couple. He was definitely more mature than her and it helped level out London's childishness. I honestly didn't get Eric's reaction when he found out London and Chance were dating. I guess I can understand him being upset about them not telling him in the beginning but, London was a grown woman. She didn't need his permission to date his bestie. The female narrator is listed as Morae Brehon. I don't know who Morae Brehon is but, I do know who Adenrele Ojo is and that's who's narrating this book. I've listened to enough books narrated by her to recognize her voice. Maybe Morae Brehon is her pseudonym. I'm generally a fan of Leon Nixon but, I did not like his performance in this book. It just was not up to par with what I'm use to from him. Overall, The Games We Play was a pretty good read. I'm glad I went back and gave it a second chance. This was my first book by Alexandra Warren and I look forward to reading more from her.
