MURDER ON BOSTON COMMON
Boston, 1933. Amanda Burnside yearns for more. Dutifully hitting the social scene and volunteering for charity, the young former debutante is delighted to be dating a doctor yet wishes for excitement. But she wasn't expecting a stroll on Boston Common with her beau to end with the discovery of a dead body. Can Amanda unmask a murderer without becoming the next victim?
MURDER IN BOSTON’S NORTH END
Amanda Burnside’s new project is creating a children’s clinic in the colorful, ethnic, under-served North End. It’s busy, noisy, bustling, and she’s challenged by the differences from her upper-class upbringing. She soon questions her choices when she stumbles across the murder of a young man. Warned off from asking further questions only fuels her curiosity to solve the case.
Will she be able to help solve the crime? Or be its next victim?
MURDER IN CITY HALL
Public servants in City Hall aren’t being very honest with the public. When a citizen reports an employee’s attempt at extortion, all hell breaks loose. And then that worker is murdered. Detective Halloran investigates with the perspective of his girlfriend, Amanda, an amateur sleuth. It’s his job on the line but she is pulled in out of curiosity and to avoid the drama at home.
Can they uncover the culprit with so many people and higher ups blocking their progress?
Follow the clues and see if you can guess whodunnit!

Story
Two little girls stand with their heads bowed in my living room. I’m told they’re my granddaughters. Daisy is nine, and Alice seven. Daisy is the spitting image of her mother. This is the first time I’ve met them since my daughter and I fell out after she married that waste of space, Vince. They’ve come to live with me because their mother — my daughter — was murdered. In her own home while they slept close by. I think Vince killed her. But the police can’t prove it. I’ve always known he was no good. He treated my daughter like dirt. I said he’d cheat on her — but she wouldn’t listen.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

The book set I listened to was not the book set I downloaded.
I did not like the virtual voice. It made the books so boring. Expressions were wrong and all the voices are the same. If I had noticed it was AI ahead of time I would not have gotten this set. You aren’t doing the author any favors by using virtual voice. I won’t get any more books by this author. I sent back another set by this author without listening to it because it was also virtual voice. Also, the book set I received was three completely different books than what I downloaded. Same author just different books.
