About this listen

Aria’s life has been carefully planned and closely monitored. She’s the sister of the Alpha. Which means dating is pretty much not an option. After a kidnapping brings her very unexpectedly face to face with her fated mate, she’s forced to acknowledge some hard truths. He’s the villain. Isn’t he? His track record looks bad from afar but the closer she gets to him, the more she sees the truth beneath. His wolf is sick and they’re running out of time. He needs a pack. But will her pack ever accept him after what he’s done? Or will Aria be forced to choose between her mate and the family and friends she’s known her whole life?

Lark wasn’t born a lycan, and he never expected to find a mate. His life was nothing but torment and darkness before he found Aria. He’s drawn to her, and so is his wolf. His beast is unpredictable and too powerful for him to control. Lark wants to stay away from Aria to protect her. But the more he fights fate, the more he finds Aria in his arms—and bed. His magic can only do so much to keep him hidden from those hunting him. He’s playing a dangerous game, one that could end up costing Aria her life, or Lark his human form. Will his wolf take control, permanently? Or will his fated mate find a way to save them both before it’s too late?

Aria and Lark deserved their HEA!!
Not only did I love their part in this book but I love the overall storyline that keeps me wanting more and more.

Ryan West is a phenomenal narrator who is a master of accents!! He and Stella Hunter both make this a top notch audiobook!

I cant wait for the next book to see what happens next!

Finally Aria!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this entire series. Aria is one character I've loved seeing grow into her own and this book was wonderful as we see what happens with her during some of the large events in this world. One thing to keep in mind is that this book overlaps with the previous so we get Lark and Aria's POV of those events. Ryan & Stella gave a phenomenal performance, and I love them as these characters.

lush angst, raw feels and intense emotions

I enjoyed Aria and Lark's story. Lots of lush angst, raw feels and intense emotions as this romance unfolds. A gripping combination of drama, action and twists pulls you in and has you eagerly hanging on each word. I thought the performances given by the narrators were great and easy to listen to.

Best one yet!

Just when I think this series cannot get any more delicious, we get to know Lark better. If you were trying to conjure up my ideal book boyfriend, you couldn't go wrong with a pierced, tattooed dirty-talking shifter. I thought the bit of primal play was the pinnacle.... until he growled "Eyes on me" and I melted. Aria is one lucky girl and if she weren't so caring and cute, I might resent her. I cannot imagine how much more I'll like the rest of the series, but I'm chomping at the bit to find out. Violet Taylor definitely has a fabulous handle on steamy, action-packed shifter novels. 🥵🥵🥵

Narration was perfect. The range of voices these actors produce add so much to the story. I love that I could feel the emotions behind the words and am impressed that I can tell the speaker by the voice the actor uses before the written tag is spoken. I know that's always the goal, but rarely achieved as well.

Best book of the series!

Lark and Aria stole my heart! Their story reads like a grotesque Romeo and Juliet retelling but with an HEA. This book answers so many questions from book 2 and tests Gideon’s relationship with his sister and Lark’s relationship with his wolf. There is angst, pain but also so much love and healing. Stella Hunter and Ryan West bring their best game to this narration and bring these characters to life so much i had a hard time letting them go. Beautifully written Violet Taylor!
