About this listen

A Sizzling, Small-town, Grumpy/Sunshine, Single Dad Romance. Jackson Corbett is a gorgeous single dad who doesn’t want complications at his family winery. And I’m the messy tornado who just offered to be his new nanny. Jackson Corbett is not impressed when I show up for an interview in my pajamas at the wrong time. But I need this job working in the tasting room at Buttercup Hill Vineyards and I'll do anything to get it. Years of sommelier courses and amateur wine-making have landed me here, at the best winery in Napa Valley, and I'm here to stay. So I make him a deal. He’s overworked and stretched thin with parenting and a stressful job. I tell him that if I’m hired by the winery, I’ll work a second job as his nanny.

I can endure the world’s grouchiest dad and entertain his feisty seven-year-old if it means career advancement and paying off my debts, while taking care of my younger sister. I also know there's no risk of romantic entanglement because Jackson is a grade-A grump—albeit a hot and chiseled one—who’s been burned by love. The weight of the world sits on his muscular shoulders, and he spends most of his time worrying about his daughter and looking at spreadsheets. The last thing I’m concerned about is how he looks at me.

Until he does. I catch him sneaking glances, and I can’t help staring right back. And noticing how sweet he is with his daughter, how his chilly façade starts to melt, and how he lingers longer than necessary when I’m around. I find myself wanting to help him even if it means spending more time away from my sister, right when she needs me the most. I’m terrified of letting down the only real family I have left. Falling for him could ruin my carefully-wrought plans. But what if I love him more?

A Wonderfully Entertaining Story & Listen🎧

I enjoyed this wonderful grumpy/sunshine, single dad romance immensely, and the story grabbed my attention immediately and held it captive the entire time. Ruby and aspiring wine maker, sommelier, applied for a job at the Corbett’s Buttercup Hill Vineyard, and arrived at her six AM interview just in time or was she? The person who greeted her was not the friendliest and was not expecting her, and it turns out he was the brother, Jackson, and not Dashiell, the one conducting the interview. Jackson, thought Dashiell, hired a nanny for him, something he was not very receptive to that, so he just wanted the woman to just leave, except she wouldn’t just or give up her opportunity to get a job at the vineyard. The interview was for six PM, so she left and came back, but before leaving she told Jackson if she gets hired to work at the vineyard she will take the job of being his daughter Fiona’s nanny, too. Jackson was going to make sure she did not get that job, but Dash hired her regardless of what he said or wanted. I loved all the layers of this story and how it all played out, with the perfect balance of drama, a touch of angst, charming and heartwarming moments, heartfelt emotions and a steamy, slow burn romance. This is an original story and the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are character growth and development. It was great to get to know these characters and watch their relationship morph into more. I am looking forward to spending more time at the Buttercup Hill vineyards with these amazing characters. Stacy Travis, thank you for this wonderfully entertaining story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Hannah Chiclana and Aaron Donaghue were the perfect cast to bring these characters and story to life. They understood the characters they were portraying, giving each a voice that was fitting, and I loved how they owned their roles, sounding believable in each one. Chiclana’s Ruby was perfection, showcasing every aspect of her personality, from her sunny demeanor to her strength and determination. Donaghue was just as fabulous as Jackson, also showcasing all sides of his personality and demeanor, and transitioning in his role as his character did. Both were fantastic performing the roles of the secondary characters, too. These two made a great narration team, their voices complemented each other and their performance elevates the already wonderful story to another level. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

WONDERFUL SINGLE DAD NANNY ROMANCE

💭This was such a delightful single-dad nanny romance! Honestly, I didn’t expect to enjoy it as much as I did. The way Jax and Ruby’s relationship unfolds at a slow, natural pace feels just right, and their moment of finally getting together is super satisfying. This was a low angst and feels lighthearted and sweet, with a slight OW drama that's so insignificant—it actually helps them realize their feelings for each other. I loved how determined Jax was when he decided to go after Ruby; he was all in and wouldn’t let her slip away. Ruby was a bit hesitant, which totally makes sense considering her difficult past.

✅Honestly, there wasn’t anything about the story that icks me, it just didn’t swoon me enough to get that full 5⭐️, but I still adore this story and highly recommend it to fans of this trope!

Wow, what a delightful surprise! Hannah and Aaron are new to me, and they brought such warmth and charm to the characters. Their performances felt so genuine, making it easy to get lost in the story. I loved how they balanced each other out—definitely left me wanting more! Highly recommend checking it out!

Amazing story with beautiful narration

I loved reading this story and the audiobook brought a whole new experience. Hannah Chiclana and Aaron Donaghue did a phenomenal job with the narration. They brought the perfect emotion, personality and voice to all the characters. Fantastic listen!!

Love You More is a stunning new series starter by Stacy Travis. I’ve ready every book of Stacy’s but this one is my most favorite.

Stacy descriptions of the vineyard and the surroundings is breathtaking and beautiful. These characters will steal your heart from the moment you start reading.

I adore Ruby..she is determined, passionate, quirky but a kind human who wants to find her place.

Jackson comes across as a grumpy guy but deep down is has a tender heart, is an amazing man and helps others without recognition.

These two are initially like oil and water..the banter and sass will have you laughing and smiling. As they spend time together their level of trust and respect increases along with their feelings for one another. The slow burn is painful (lol) but once they finally give into their feelings it’s a beautiful and passionate love story.

Looking forward to the other stories in this incredibly beautiful setting.

Ruby and Jackson...

Love you more is the first book in the Buttercup Hill series. It is a single dad, small-town, grumpy/sunshine romance. This was a sweet, witty, fun read with all the feels and off the charts chemistry. There is drama, and conflict with steam and swoony scenes. I loved the relationship both Ruby and Jackson had with his daughter Fiona.

Hannah Chiclana and Aaron Donaghue did a great job with these characters.

Book & Audio Review

This was a super sweet feel good romance listen! Ruby our FMC was fun, smart, Sassy and driven. Jax our MMC was a grumpy single dad with a soft spot for his adorable daughter Fi. I really enjoyed the happenings around the romance in this story! It takes place on a Vineyard and Ruby is working toward her goal of being a Sommelier which was fun to listen and hear about! There was also a bit of mystery laced in this story that I'm excited to get to the bottom of in the coming books!Audio wise this was a first for me by both Hannah Chiclana and Aaron Donaghue and I enjoyed them both immensely!

Winery Vibes!

This was my first Stacey Travis book and I enjoyed the story she told but I really enjoyed the setting and the way she described the winery. Jackson is a single dad and head of his family winery. Ruby has come to looking for a job at the winery but runs into Jackson instead of his brother she was supposed to meet. Jackson is a bit grumpy and gives her a hard time. Somehow they come to an agreement that she will get a chance to work for their winery while also being the nanny for Jackson’s daughter. There were a lot of strong relationships throughout the story. I loved the focus on Ruby’s relationship with her sister. Jackson and Ruby fit so perfectly together. Falling in love was the last thing they had in mind, but it came so easily for them.

Hannah and Aaron did an amazing job bringing the story to life. I think they really were able to capture all the characteristics of each character. It made for a great and easy listen.

JACKSON AND RUBY WAS DELICIOUS!

Such a super cute audiobook with two fantastic Narrators who totally brought together this delightful Book with their kick ass performances.
This is one you won’t want to miss .
My first audiobook of Stacy Travis and let me tell you she didn’t disappoint!
I absolutely enjoyed every single second of this delicious story!

Ok let’s get into it !
Hannah Chiclana, Aaron Donaghue was absolutely fantastic playing Characters Ruby and Jackson in this sizzling, small-town, Grumpy/Sunshine,Single Dad Romance.

Jackson Corbett
a gorgeous single dad who doesn’t want complications at his family winery.

But let me tell you .. this guy although grumpy is anything but .. this is one swoon worthy single gorgeous dad with a cinnamon roll attitude to match.. this guy have his fair share of problems and certainly isn’t looking for any when a messy tornado blew right in and changes everything,

Enter Little Ms Ruby in her Apple red car kicking up dust
In her sandals clad feet loose purple top short shorts and flaming red wild hair!
Yes tornado indeed.
She thought Jackson was grumpy ..but gorgeous, he literally stole her train of thought sparks fly and she just knew after meeting his daughter and him that she couldn’t walk away.. although she has no idea why but she knew this man needed help.
So yeah .. she offered to be his Nanny and work part time at the vineyard.

Yeah this one is one angsty story .. but lord knows the sizzling heat between these two was absolutely delicious.

But as the story goes along they both fought hard their obvious attraction while Jacks is busy protecting his daughter while trying to figure out the case of the missing funds.. as it could cost the family the vineyard his attraction to Ruby only grows exponentially each day .

Definitely love this story that’s full of banter family love and dedication towards each other., I loved how easy going it was between the Characters..
and again.. Hannah Chiclana & Aaron Donaghue
Was perfection as Ruby and Jackson.
This is my second time listening these guys, hopefully I will get more opportunity to .

Definitely recommend
