Very enjoyable!

I am excited to discover Edie James! I agree with another review in that, if I had gone off of the sample narration, I likely wouldn’t have purchase this audiobook. However, at 1.2, the narrator does a very good job. I enjoyed the story as well! It was a believable storyline. I appreciated how the author gave the characters realistic reactions to back up their talents and histories. They didn’t come off as weak or stupid but as intelligent men and women who know how to work together and rely on each other’s talents.

Belief in God.

Having God and prayer was important to me. Story showed faith in good as well as bad times in lives.

New author for me.

It’s too bad that the narration speed can’t be changed while listening to the sample. I would have missed out on this author and narrator. That being said the narration was perfect on 1,2. The suspense was very good, Faith was awesome and I did guess one of the bad guys about 2/3 into the book. I will enjoy new books by Edie James and I can’t wait.

The suspense,mind callenging sequences of event.
Unexpected villan in a murder with deceit.
The tie between Kelli and Jack and getting through old emotions to find the long awaited open love.
Fantastic
Can't wait for more.

Christian mystery, action, romance

I really enjoyed this book with the mystery, action, and romance between Jack and Kelli. The characters are former SEALs who now work in the private sector for Knight Tactical and other characters who work for an aviation repair place. The action is exciting. I appreciate the Christian message sprinkled in. I can't wait for the next book in this series! The performance is pretty good after you get used to it.

Weak female lead

I’m less than an hour into the book, and the female leader is so weak that I cannot finish it, and the author did not do her research correctly about the military rankings of Navy personnel
