Publisher's summary

Identity is a choice. Who will you choose to be?

Lily is in trouble. Deep, deep trouble. Alone and without her magic, she doesn’t know where she is or how she got there. All she wants is to go home and be left in peace. But what part of her will she have to sacrifice to get there?

Sebastian is doomed. Spent, wrecked, devastated. Everything he ever had going for him is lying in ash and ruin, and he can’t shake off the doubts in his head that are driving him mad. Is what they’re saying true? How is he supposed to tell truth from lie?

Separated by dangerous forces, Lily and Sebastian must dig deep for the courage they need to survive. But with all their pretense and excuses stripped away, can they come to terms with who they are - and who they were meant to be - before it’s too late? Wizard, witch, and demon, their enemies are wily and strong...and have been planning this victory for a long, long time.

BEST I've read in many years

Complexity, best double entendrés in decades of YA genre read by one who was a YA decades ago, but prefers less profanity and sexual themes while enjoying teasing but not wanting to have the topic as "in your face as older teens and YA may prefer.

Sounds like a Valley Girl-could hardly listen

Story was good but it was VERY difficult to get past the narrator. Too bad the story had this narrator.

The good & the evil

Lily Singer has been kidnapped & Sebastian has a choice to make. Will he break his promise to the Fae Leader to join them to fight demon kind or will he do everything he can to find Lily? Knowing he will lose all of his Fae magic & help if he breaks his promise, Sebastian still chooses to find Lily. This episode is action packed & fast moving. There are unexpected twists & turns & although the story is longer than previous episodes, I still wanted to know more as this one ended. Sadly, I know the Audible version will come out later than the Kindle version but I love the narration in Audible, especially the narration of Sir Kipling. Sir Kipling never ceases to amaze me. I love that magical cat!

A Fantasticle Journey

What a wonderful journey down the road of magical adventure ! Amy McFaddens performance is awesome. Her character development, vocal portrail and avid joy in what she is delivering only heightened the experience. I want to say not since experiencing the Harry Poter series have i so enjoyed another wizzarding series. This storyline delivers a very satisfying "read" to both young adult and adult readers alike and leaves you wanting a continuation of the storyline. Good job Lydia, a story well done!

The suspense is worth it

We still need answers at the end of this book but many were answered. I look forward to number 7 to get them answered. Hopefully if Mallory is in book 7 her character develops into a “human”
