After a routine delivery, midwife Sarah Brandt visits her patient in a rooming house and finds that another boarder, a young girl, has been killed. Boring
I couldn’t finish this one. I don’t know if it’s because of the reader’s delivery or the story, but it often faded into the background and I’d realize I’d missed a fair amount of what had just played.
